The darkening of his vowels and words is due to his extremely deep Scottish accent and him being a very emotional vocalist. I also agree with others that you should try to listen to the song more and do more critiquing at one time instead of pausing every 5 seconds so that you can also get more of the emotional reaction. Your opinions are good but it's much more enjoyable if you show more of the song.

If you’re not familiar with the channel, he breaks the videos down, he doesn’t just watch it.

Strange how people are receiving this reaction so negatively. Exactly what I expected from a reaction from a VOCAL COACH, someone who has applicable knowledge to the singing techniques being used. Very informative and interesting, thank you!
Sorry Adam but this vid was very difficult to watch. The editing was very choppy, you never let the song play for more than a 5 seconds before a comment came in or an edit to another shot of yourself. I had thought something was wrong with the internet connection until I realised this was intentional, you had inserted edits every few seconds through the entire 6:58. It destroyed any hope of an emotional connection to the song and made it unpleasant to watch. I think on reflection you will see this upload is not a good advert for you
I think the reason he was stopping every few seconds is because he was critiquing the song rather than reacting to it. The emotional connection to a song is kind of hard to feel when one is giving a critique on it rather than a reaction. I'd say if you want to feel that emotional connection then either watch the music video or other people's reaction video. That's what I'd do anyway lol
@@brittw.2863 I think your being over kind to what is a pretty awful youtube video. Adam has built a following up based on pretty much one youtuber video of him having an emotional reaction and explaining another Lewis song. Before you go is a much deeper song than the one that made Adam cry. But instead of building on the other Videos, Adams gives us an advert for his business and an impression of a stuttering robot. Its a terrible advert for Adam and bad video in any context.

@@tasnimshahid8571 Not new. Its a terrible critique poorly edited & designed to sell his product not even close to a useful reaction as a vocal coach. After having 50 people agree with me I think your out of step not the other viewers who agree its a bad relection on him as a creator & coach.

If you keep telling yourself that you can't sing, you will not improve. You need to keep yourself motivated
I'm here for you. When do you want to start trainng your voice? I'm kidding, obviously. Is there a public wide open space where you won't feel so conscious about your voice and confidence? A car, bike or train will even do.
I was volunteered for back up vocals despite never singing in front of another person. I practised in the car then on long walks. Before that long I was singing in front of friends whenever I heard a song I liked. Seriously, singing is a confidence builder

Couldn't get more than 2 minutes in due to all the cut aways. I get stopping and letting us know what you hear but the endless plugs edited it in ruined this video immediately for me. I hope you see the comments because judging by them many others agree.
