I've hunted the Big Cypress Swamp in the Everglades for over 25 years and I have caught, shot, skinned cleaned and cooked alligators all different ways. Hell I've even been bitten by an alligator "Yea it hurts" but I've never seen a smoked alligator. Awesome job and it looks amazing. Cheers to you 👍😎
Thanks man. Yeah it was real good! 30 minutes after it came off the grill there was nothing left but a small sandwich ziplock bag a 1/4 full of leftovers. That was gone the next day for lunch.
Man that’s awesome Blevin! Gator is really good and love that thumbnail with the crawfish boil tucked in to it! Killer job brother!
Thank you sir. Yeah that gator turned out so much better than I thought it would.
Damn dude that was one bad azz cook and video. Jesus, nice job brother.
Yo Tommy! Thanks brother. Yeah man it was a lot of fun for sure.
Broooo that was so badass! I love the idea with the sauce! Keep it up bro!
Dude the sauce took it to 11! It was awesome!
That looks quite impressive, and very tasty. Cheers! ✌️
It was very tasty. It basically has a pork texture to it.

Great video thanks for the explanation on that fat in the tail.. im planning on doing one over charcoal, do you think i would need too flip the Gator? And curious if anyone has ever made a spray for the meat.?
Thank you. I'm not sure if you would have to flip the gator but I would assume so. It took 4 hours when I cooked it on indirect heat so I'm not sure if you would over cook it goin directly over coals. On the spray question, I say go for it. The white meat is like a pork loin so I would say treat it like one. Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.
Will do!.. thanks for the reply.
How many pounds is the gator?
Like 8 lb . It was about 3 1/2 foot long.
ewww
Lol! It's actually pretty good. It has a pork texture to it.
@@WestCoastCajunCuisine lol, ok.
@@WestCoastCajunCuisine I was wondering what it tastes like.
@@scienceownsimposters2142 it's pretty mild and take on the seasonings and flavors you put on it very well.
