In every video there is one Digimon that almost convert the two of them into fans, but is always followed by one that sucker punch them back.
Nico starting to get it, we love character development. Still hates it though, we love realistic character development.
The way Burgamon's name is shared has upset ever since watching Frontier as a teen. Both of their reactions are 100% justified.
They aren't the only digimon to do that either Argomon and Arcadiamon do that too fsr

@@kiwi_arms Greymon evolves into Metalgreymon and Wargreymon, not Greymon ( Ultimate ) and Greymon ( Mega ), so I don't think they have an excuse.
@@slavishentity6705 Arcadiamon was named by one of the characters in the manga when it debuted and the whole evolutionary line was just called Arcadiamon. Algomon experienced the same thing when it debuted in the Savers movie.
@@TheTakato122 Plus they're both artificial Digimon in some way. Besides them there's Lucemon, but are you gonna tell him he's not allowed to break the rules? I don't think so.
If you felt like finding a creator to reach out to for a Digimon collaboration video, you should reach out to Karn EX. He's a bigger digituber that I'm pretty sure would be interested in running an obscure Digimon trivia thing for the four of you. Idk, might be worth reaching out to him.
Edit: for Weddinmon, I'm pretty sure the design is supposed to be a wedding cake, a woman coming out of a fake cake (aka a Pop Out Cake), and the statue on top of a wedding cake. So, I believe the design is like a 3-in-1 thing
Edit edit: for the bonus round, the "Adult" is not really part of its name, it's just there to show it's a different evolutionary stage from regular Burgamon. In media, it's just called Burgamon. It's the same with Whamon Adult and Whamon Perfect. Both are just called Whamon.
Missed opportunity to use the fake names Panmon or even Anpanmon for Burgamon

I forget if you did any Pulsemon related digimon but a pulsemon episode would be pretty good theme. It would really show how Digimon have multiple different paths to evolve into. Plus the idea of them losing their minds going "HOW DID WE GO FROM THAT TO THIS"
Shortmon is a unicorn. The strawberry is his horn, the half strawberries are his ears, and he has icing for a tail. Thats why he looks weird. Btw i started playing digimon world championship, and my current battle team is steve the geogreymon, gerry the meramon, and alex the centauromon.

Steve Blum hasn't been an Agumon yet I believe... Wait he was BlackWarGreymon... But Geogreymon is an alternate line from BlackWar... Maybe he just reverted to a Digiegg and took a different path
@@firepuppies4086 Steve was just what I named my botamon. I didn't know about Steve Blum. It was just a joke. My other members are Peashooter the togemon (not changing it to cactus since she digivolved), waffles the gatomon, lego Steve the clockmon (he used to be a toy agumon), smelly gob the veggiemon, and poophead the sukamon (she used to be renamon named kyubi 'cuz I play yokai Watch, and forgot kyubimon exists, and I don't think she's happy with the new form.)

Anyway I think the Digimon card game is annoyingly complex, and would rather play the original from the 90s. Take that as you will. One of my favorite Digimon is also fucking Angelamon. If you know you fucking know.

All three of the Burgamon first appeared as cards from a promotion with a Japanese fast food chain (which, I assume, has actual shrimp burgers).
You could make a quiz just with slighty to sexy digimon like Weddinmon. There are way to many. Bonus round would be Hydramon

"Burgamon Adult" is more a point of clarification, its name is just Burgamon, while Adult is the stage (equivalent to Champion in English) to differentiate from Burgamon, who is a Child (Rookie in English)
Yeah, looking at the official Japanese website, they don't even use different characters for their names. Some Digimon will have stuff in parentheses, which I also don't think is pronounced, but those two are literally just both Burgamon in the original version with the descriptors seemingly being a localization thing.

Hearing some of the funny voices you do gave me an idea for another game: you could show them a clip of a weird voice or unusual line and have them guess if it is a real clip or a fan made clip, because there are some wild moments in digimon anime/games and there are a lot of well made fan dubs/edits/animations. I don’t want to give too specific examples in case you do this idea and the wrong person reads this suggestion but things like monkey Elvis, violent puppetmon, the deva owl and even just some of the music choices could all be very funny to guess if they are real or not.

So Weddinmon isn't an evolution of Shortmon. They just work together in making cake.
They do however have a DigiXros (DigiFuse) alongside Candmon (Candlemon) in the _Digimon Xros Wars_ manga called Reverse Weddinmon which is just a giant upside-down wedding cake with a face and Candmons for hands
Ebi Burgamon being what it is because 'ebi' is Japanese for 'shrimp' and because shrimp is pink was mentioned in the video, but I'd like to mention that the specific reason is because it took on the ingredient data of fresh shrimp (and as I type this out, the video got to 'It's pink for the exact reason flamingos are pink' which, yeah)
The Card Game seems to promote the idea that they can digivolve into one another, it's just that they've yet to appear in any virtual pets or games that would further establish that
It's an implied evolution at least in the card game. And really most of the time when digimon are associated like that it's possible for them to evolve.
Oh and "Shrimp Burgers" is apparently an actual thing.
I think Xros Wars canon probably only applies to that season, if we want to see any Digimon from that season again we kinda got to ignore that it didn't include regular digivolution.

Alright! The food episode. If Pokemon has Alcremie and Milcery, I wonder how ya’ll react to Digimon.
Potamon is an interesting little guy. I don’t know if it was part of any fast food references, but it is a relatively new Digimon. It apparently has a rivalry with the Burgamon, arguing over whether fries or burgers are better. It had small bit parts in the anime and showings as a background character in a manga. It did evolve into another digimon called Jyagamon which is literally the Japanese translation of Potato… and it looks like a bestial golem made of potatos.
Ah… Shortmon and Weddinmon. Shortmon is a Cake Unicorn Butler just to hammer in a British inspiration for both of them. Weddinmon on the other hand is the stereotypical bride inside a wedding cake, but you may give them credit for the hit woman hiding inside a cake gag that somehow became a thing. These Digimon were invented for Xros Wars and well… with Grand Generamon, you pretty much know this is gonna be good. They were created for the manga as an alternate villain of an arc from the anime (for some reason they changed it) and it really hones in on an issue from Xros Wars.
Tangent: You see, Xros Wars tried to do something unique by doing away with standard evolutionary lines and had Digimon age up slowly. As a result, a lot of the Digimon introduced get stuck in this limbo where no line was ever given to them cause they were expected to be standalone one offs. Shortmon and Weddinmon end up having no evolutionary relationship at all. In the manga Shortmon were servants of Weddinmon and that was all there is. They are slowly retroactively giving them connections, but as of now, Shortmon and Weddinmon are some of the Digimon stuck in this limbo. It is as if Pokemon suddenly decided that no Pokemon evolve and the only way to get stronger or change is to do a Pokemon Fusion. That is how drastic the change was. Heck a lot of the transitions are questionable and some major enemies are classified as… Ultimates (basically the second to last evolution stage) instead of Megas.
Ok… about Burgamon (Child) and Burgamon (Adult)… they were made in collaboration with a restaurant chain called Lotteria. They are known for serving standard burger restaurant fare like burgers, fries and chicken nuggets. As such 4 Digimon were made for the collab and special Digimon Cards were made. Torikaraballmon (chicken nuggets), Burgamon Child (hamburger), Ebi Burgamon (shrimp burger) and Burgamon Adult (fry cooks) were made specifically as a promotional set. This is the reason for some of the things ya’ll noticed about these Digimon as yes, they used the art from the restaurant for the images on the cards. As such, this was kinda made for a pure Japanese audience. Due to being a promotional Digimon they really don’t have a full line, but if they needed food service NPCs and background characters, the four Digimon here were used. Potamon has no relation to these guys as it was made later.
Note: Games, Cards and Media often vary some of the power levels of Digimon or have anomalies that are referred to the same name for its entire line. Some digimon tht have flip flipped just ended up with Name (Level). So Burgamon (Child) and Burgamon (Adult) is part of the naming scheme.

There are a few instances where multiple digimon in a line share a name. The "Adult" bit is not part of the name, but a denotation of it's level.
Arcadiamon and Lucemon also are two digimon with a single name, just different denotations.
Honestly, I can see it. The top of the head of Potamon does look like those grey asian pears.
