I am curious as to what happened to the Lamborghini Diablo that featured on NRE channel in 2010, the last time I saw it on CZcams was years later apparently gathering dust in the background of another NRE video. Curiously there have been pictures of it posted relatively recently on their FB page as though it was a progressing project. Rather strange to have it for 12 years. The owner of the Diablo was posting in car forums about the project but seemed to disappear in about 2014 saying he was still waiting for updates. Goatzilla appears to have a plausible back story and sat for years awaiting a new owner. It appears to be progressing again. No comfort for you, a lot of money in the hole, I know there are other horror stories too.
I think everyone has a customer who slates them I’m sure not everyone who stays at the Savoy are happy but most are ??? there’s a ton of cars I presume have happy customers that Tom Nelson has built, VERY talented guy, why did Glen pay in instalments place a binding order then back out ?. Can’t see you would get a bespoke engine made and expect the builder to keep it ???
So who built the engine on your website ? The tuatara engine - or is that not yours and has nothing to do with this story. Why weren’t you awarded the lawyer and court fees if you won your case ? I’m sure there is a lot more to this story. Why would you pay for the entire engine up front ? It’s usually a down payment and then a few payments as progress is made. It’s your own fault for paying up front. I would think that anyone that has $300k to blow on a lawyer would be a little smarter than that managing their money. You mentioned that many more people were also screwed over - well, who are they ? Hearsay my friend, blah blah blah.
Yellow bullet forum has a heap of info including court paperwork and other Aussie customers that were ripped off. I don't doubt they can build a decent engine but it sounds like international buyers need to be extra cautious

To be honest at this point we have got 2 motors from Tom and to be honest The only bad thing I can say is damn the man is expensive !!!!

Good rule of thumb - Unless real professional racers use an engine shop - stay away.
