Curious, Zach Wilkins often has a very quiet release. Is that a good thing or is it just style points? I find myself wanting to replicate it but, I don't know if it's necessarily something I should even worry about.
Mostly it's because of his tilt. He gets so low that when he releases the ball there is not really any distance between his ball and the lane. He lays it down super early because of this.
Hi did you play conventional grip with inserts before and now you play semi fingertip grip? If so why did you change and what are the benefits of playing semi fingertip instead of conventional?
I used to be conventional about 3 years ago or so. I initially started out two handing that way but eventually stopped because it was killing my rev rate even though it felt like I had a better grip on the ball.
Semi fingertip is a happy medium for me. I feel like I have a good grip and I can still get revs on the ball.
