In my first playthrough in story mode, I kept the black Shire(Hosea) as my main horse until 'well we know". I named him Raven of course, lol.Great horse.
Sometimes I name my black horses Raven, it's a good name!

The Shire is my original babby, I keep him in every one of my playthroughs lol, I just can't bring myself to sell him after everything we been through on my first playthrough 😭
I had a turkoman, which never threw me down when there were cougars around. Just very rare moments with grizzlys, but only when I was standing right next to them.
What about hunting ?

The Turkoman and Thoroughbred look great.
Since I’ve always dressed Arthur in all black, the black Standardbred and shire have always been nice. Sorry, even though I have gotten the black Arabian early in chapter 2 just to do it….not a fan. Just too tiny for a grown ass man to be riding. Lol.
The Arabians are pretty small for Arthur 😂 he's such a big guy he looks better on the big horses. John can kind of get away with it but the smallest I normally go with him is the tiger striped mustang. Now my online female character....great with the Arabian!
I have the kladruber his name is Delano which means nighttime glad to see he's your second favorite role horse im glad i saw your videos it helped me realize you can still get a great horse even if stats aren't the best im level 138 now and I thought I needed the horses with the best stats now I collect horses that I enjoy looking at and riding thanks for helping me realize that 👌👍

My fav. Horse I ride is my black turkoman.. she's skittish and temperamental which I hated at first but now it totally gives her a personality - thanks for another great video

Hi ms Brandi, i have the black chestnut thougrbted, the real ones have a blonde flaxon mane and tail, so i put the long blonde mane and tail on mine the color matchs the horse and i use the purple natchogoches saddle it matches❤ the mane and tail number is 12
I'll have to check out and see what that saddle looks like! I am actually not minding the belanger saddle right now but it is very black so it makes the horse look even more purple 😂 Thanks for the suggestions!

However my story horse was a Gold Turkoman and he was a good boah
I love black horses so much, they are so beautiful, so perfect!! Almost all of my horses in online are black because I absolutly love them. Could we have a video showing white horses next? They are also very pretty and I have some in my stables as well

I think you miss the black Dutch warmblood who is avalaible for 150$ with pretty good Stat and a good size. A solid choice for new player!

Thanks for watching! I'm not sure which warmblood you are referring to as there are no black ones? There is a chocolate roan, seal brown, sooty buckskin and cremello gold (Buell).
@@BlackKnight_ Think he means the seal brown, which is mostly black despite its name. Absolutely love that horse, my go to in the story.
@@EO13 Gotcha! My friend really likes that horse! I don't find it all that black but everyone is different. I know a lot of people who consider the steel gray breton to be black too but it's just a dark gray to me. For Seal Brown, I love Rachel from story. Super pretty!
@@EO13 but you can't go wrong with a warmblood! Sooty Buckskin is my favorite coat for that one.
@@BlackKnight_ Yes Rachel is a good looking horse. Most of the time I keep the last veteran mission for the epilogue so I can ride on Buell with John. Funny enough also a dutch warmblood so guess that is kind of my favorite breed for the story.

I thought about including that one! I may have even mentioned it but ultimately decided not to because it's a bit more grayish and has all the dappling vs trying to showcase mostly & solid black horses. It's a tough call though because there is so much variation.
When I was a little kid, I used to think black horses are scary but then as I got older, black horses are majestic looking and I always like black horses and when I was a kid, I always thought the black horses were stallions, but that’s not really the case
Yeah the iconic and majestic black stallion from books and movies definitely comes to mind when you think of black horses.
I use the dark turkoman which i stole from level 3 mission. I have a panther saddle.

4:22 That's what staying positive literally means. Its 2023 and still hoping rockstar brining more things thing to RDO.
I just hope they ban the modders and cheaters on PC, even if they are not planning to bring in new content to RDO.

Can you make a video on different versions of RDO? Starting from 1,00 to 1.31? Like show what changes they have done and which is the best update so far, etc. I am playing 8th time. To be honest I have experienced more bugs in my current play through and the previous one as well.
@@69Solo ps5 and unfortunately I wouldn't be able to show the changes with each update. It is funny how often rockstar would cause more bugs in story, even when an update file was mostly for online but they have also fixed stuff along the way. Years ago there was a game breaking bug where a mission in Chapter 3 would mess up to where you couldn't complete it. Even reloading save wouldn't help and I literally got stuck and could not go any further until they fixed it.
Where the heck is the American standardbred I’ve looked all over this god forsaken area and cannot find it
The area in big valley circled in the video is a static standardbred spawn. Sometimes the buckskin spawns and sometimes the black one. Are you riding to the area looking for the group of horses near the trees and riding away if you don't see the one you want?
