    I have the exact truck and love it.. Did a 2 inch ready Lift Level. Run 92 gas in it. I put some exhaust on it and it and it sounds like a beast. Didn't get crazy with the exhaust like that low low growl. I drive around in 9 low to keep the DFM off. Out of all the trucks I have owned over the years this is the finest one to date. Putting Fuel Blitz 20x9 wheels + 20 offset and Nitto Ridge Grapplers tires on next week staying with 275 65 20 so there is no trimming or rubbing. I did buy the extended 100k mile warranty you never know...

    Wow, this is an outstanding video. I really appreciate your level of detail and your many comparisons to the Denali, Ram and Ford. I was just looking at this AT4 and comparing it to the Denali at the dealership. I thought the exact same as you - there's not much difference at all except a few cosmetic things and to me the AT4 looks better. I think the main advantage of the Denali is the continually adjustable suspension it comes with. But I'd still choose the AT4. What's your opinion on the ride quality with the Denali's suspension vs AT4? Also everyone seems to make a big deal about the Ram's air suspension. I haven't driven it yet but what do you think rides better than RAM air suspension or the AT4?

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I agree that I’d take an AT4 over a Denali. Ride quality is about the same from the factory, but road noise is definitely more noticeable with the Mud Terrain tires on the AT4. Rams air suspension is a lot softer than the GM trucks but the difference between rams air suspension and regular suspension isn’t as drastic as I’d like. Overall, if you want the most luxurious ride, go with the ram, but If you want a balance between a small feeling nimble truck, capability, and performance, definitely go with a GM truck 👍🏼

    How do these hold up with city driving? My commute is a maximum of 10 miles, but is 100% city.
    I currently own a 2023 Tundra (8,500 mi). I love the truck, but the premature engine failures have me concerned. Dealers aren't even accepting 22/23 trades because of the issue and toyota dealerships can't sell impacted inventory until their is a fix. I bought the extended warranty because i planned to have this 15 years but not if an engine blows!

    I wish they made an at4 at a lower price point with less cameras and interior features. I love the exterior but I don’t need all of the luxuries it comes with and a full leather interior. I know the trail boss has a custom model but it just doesn’t compete in the looks department in my opinion

    I don't understand the entire 6.2 vs 3.0 Diesel conversation. We live in a world where gas mileage is everything. Why would I get the 6.2 vs diesel. The gas mileage is night and day. People wanting speed like they will be racing the truck on a race track.

    How uncomfortable are those seats? I test drove an elevation, the padding was so bad, you can literally squeeze it and feel the frame of the seat like a cheap walmart beach chair

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  Před měsícem +1

      Seats are better than what you’d get on the elevation. They’re Heated+Ventilated with a better quality seat material but they’re the same shape, so not very supportive. However I don’t think any 1500 pick up outside of performance models have very supportive seats. These however are a little stiffer new but I’ve heard they soften up after a couple months

      @@WTFCRLT1I’ve watched a lot of your videos and I’m looking for a new half ton that’s some sort of off road edition. I’ve come down to these choices- base ford raptor(being the most expensive of my choices), this AT4 in your review, and the new ram rebel. I know the raptor is the “best” but it will cost me 80k. You can get the rebel and AT4 for 65k since the discount 10k off sticker. I’m looking for the most comfortable seats and also best overall truck. What’s your opinion?

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  Před měsícem

      I personally prefer the acceleration and response of V8’s. I agree that the 3.5 Ecoboost and 3.0 hurricane are faster and “sometimes” more efficient, but I don’t think I’d ever buy a truck without a V8. If you can find a 2024 rebel with a hemi, I’d buy it as a daily driver for its added comfort, but if you want something faster and are okay with 14-15mpg, go with the at4 all day. It’s quicker, more nimble and can tow and carry more than the Rebel. The rebel however is WAY more comfortable to drive. Not even close. Drive both, and I’d go with whichever is the better deal, likely staying away from the raptor unless I live in the middle of the dessert lol

    • @Templetons
      @Templetons Před měsícem

      @@WTFCRLT1 thanks for the response. I’m in a Ram Laramie 2500 diesel now and can’t stand the ride anymore. I’m really looking for comfort with off road capabilities for my ranch. Seats and ride are a big deal for my frequent 4hr drives and bad back and tailbone. I love the at4 but if it’s not that comfortable I’ll have to pass on it unfortunately. There are tons of hemi rebels left, but they all have that ugly red two tone interior. Can’t win! I’d go with the Ram limited but hate to drive something like that off road around ranch ya know. Big wheels are not a good thing.

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  Před měsícem +1

      I must say, compared to a 2500 Ram even the 1500 at4 is noticeably more comfortable. Just still not as comfortable as the Rebel. Either way you’ll be more comfortable than where you are now, but sounds like you’d definitely prefer the Rebel! Not the best look for me to say this on an AT4 video but as a Ram 1500 owner, I know that not everyone needs a slightly faster and slightly more capable truck while compromising a lot of comfort 👍🏼
