Great review, Ian! I'm looking for basshead set under 50$, How is Juzear Clear compared to Rosefinch, Castor bass, and KZ ESX? (considering bass quality and quantity, subbass rumble, clarity in mids, vocals/tonality)

From the little knowledge I have about iem engineering, its because it’s a single dynamic driver, which means dampening 1 section is more difficult. So on single DD graphs you’d see a lot more smooth lines than sharp cuts. It can be done but as far as I know that’s why. Compared to multi drivers iems that allows for crossovers and individual drivers to be dampened differently.
I am still waiting for these but I have the Rosefinch. I I love it! Gotta switch out the cable and tips. On a amp it's Insane. Thick, Dark sound. Amazing for EDM and Hip hop. Clear is brighter, lots of treble.
Do you think Qudelix 5k and Cayin RU6 can drive them properly (power and current wise) single ended on moderate listening volume (around 70db) or is it worth to go balanced?

i dont understand why is it so difficult for chifi companies to tame down the 4-6k area, every decent cheap iem has this problem

Honestly I am no longer interested in 1DD or all BA earphones.
I hear that. But you gotta admit, there is some beauty in their simplicity. Single DD drivers anyway.

Oh yes! Good bass and clear treble helps watching movies a joy.
