THIS DRUMKIT IS AWESOME!

Hi everyone, it's been a while. A couple of weeks ago I orderd the PDP Concept LTD Mapa Burl drumkit. I instantly fell in love with the physique of the kit, but when I played it for the first time, I knew this is the perfect drumkit for me.
For everyone that doesn't know already: It's a 7-ply maple drumkit with a mapa burl layer wrapped around. The matching snare is a 10-ply maple shell. The toms are 10x8, 12x9 and 16x14, the typical DW sizes. The kick is a 22x18 shell and the snaredrum 14x5,5.
I immediately changed the drumheads with the DW CC batterhead and left the reso heads and snare heads as they were. Made a hole in the kickdrum head and there it was. I still can't believe that, eventhough this drumkit was more expensive than the average PDP kit, this drumkit is this great. It sounds big, fat and deep like a DW kit. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone who wants a premium looking and sounding kit for this money. Unfortunately the floortom mic failed on me as you can hear.

Thatreally is a truly great sounding kit. I tell ya, I have always liked the sound of those stock heads as well.
