Which is funny since, as soon as Mitch started singing, all I could think of from watching her face was " Hello Mitch Face". Lol.

I've been watching them all day as it is very slow at work. I just can't get enough.
I’ve watched EVERY different person available on CZcams (what, fifty of them?) just to see their reactions, specifically when Mitch starts singing.
So fun seeing newbies listen to Pentaonix for the first time. They roll their eyes in bliss when Avi brings in the bass and raise their eyebrows and mew their lips in "that does not compute" surprise when Mitch hits his solo. Almost every single one! LOL
They always seem to overlook Kevin's percussions though...as if they are assuming the drums and stuff were added
@@mjcole12 we're so used to hearing drums and backgrounds in everything that it takes a few listens to realize just WHAT we're hearing with Kevin. Some even say "So we heard a solo from these four, what good is that fifth guy?" Eventually they say, "OMG, this guy is the drums! And that wind noise, and the cymbals, and..."
I get an emotional rush watching someone who’s honestly touched by what they’re experiencing. Thank you. Your Mitch face was fun to watch. He’s everyone’s favorite Diva with a heart of gold, and a voice to match. The older vids with Avi or the newer ones with Matt makes no difference, they’re both trained and bring their own style and presentation to the songs they cover. Kirsty is doing more forward carry than in the early days, and she blows everything she does out of the water. Kevin has more talent in his little toe that most seasoned performers have in their entire repertoire. And Scott can make icebergs melt and water boil with his sweet and sultry voice.

Welcome to PTX. Even though Hallelujah is definitely one of their masterpieces, there is much more to explore. Sound of Silence, daft punk medley, Amazing Grace, Mary did you know or Havanna or Say something... In terms of acapella groups, they are unmatched.

They are truly the best a cappella group around. Did you notice that when Ari was leading the bass part was done by Scott. Very versatile.
Agreed, But it's Much easier to see the switch in the in the live version, you almost don't see Scott when Avi is leading in this MV (at distance from the side).
They have great originals like Run to You, Sing, and their new album The Lucky Ones is all originals. Gold really highlights Mitch's voice.

Thanks for your great reaction. I never heard of Pentatonix, until a couple of years ago. The first video I saw of them was "Bohemian Rhapsody". They blew me away. And have been hooked ever since. While I think you can both appreciate and enjoy the different sorts of music they delve into, there are a few that stand out and might reflect the breadth of their talents ... Bohemian Rhapsody, Mad World, When the Partys Over, Daft Punk, Sing, Amazing Grace and many more .... and yep, their Christmas albums are outstanding and the first song of theirs that hooked me maybe about a decade ago was Carol of the Bells, which just totally startled me in terms of what non-instrumental music could be like ... You're right about the Christmas music. 6 albums and one grammy, I think. Try "Mary Did You Know", "Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy", "Amazing Grace" and "12 Days Of Christmas".
This was my first song by Pentatonix I literally cried when I heard Mitch's voice they are all amazing but for me it's Mitch absolutely love all of them but his voice for me stand alone✌️❣️

I’ve listened to EVERY different voice coach, music teacher, voice expert, etc, shown on CZcams (what is it, 50 or 60?) react to Pentatonix’ version of “Hallelujah,” and with every different one, I zeroed in to see their faces when Mitch started singing. Their expressions of awe and utter disbelief is priceless. I totally agree with them. Many I’ve played over and over just to see their reactions. This woman here is my favorite as far as honest “expert” reaction. She doesn’t miss even the slightest nuance regarding to their singing. Her astonishment is honest, especially in regard to Mitch.
I came to your channel because of Pentatonix. You are beautiful and absolutely fun to watch during your reactions. You can't go wrong reacting to any of their music but Say Something and Love Again are two of my favorites. For Christmas Mary Did You Know. I think you would enjoy them.

We all cry out to the Creator at intense moments. In joy, in pain, in despair, in gratitude, in loneliness, in ecstacy. That's what I interpret "Hallelujah" ("Praise God") to mean.
Mitch's voice and Cristina and Avi bass voice ... miracle voice❤ An' so Scott's baritone register , the beatboxing rythm of 6/8 ... incredindible!

Other covers are sound of silence, little drummer boy, imagine, rather be, mad world, royals, bohemian rhapsody (quite simply the best cover of that song}, gold, wizard of ahhhs ( a montage of 16 songs made to tell the classic story od wizard of oz), and so many more. some originals are love again, sing, and their brand new album lucky ones. also they made an album during the pandemic entirely recorded seperately at home and mixed...titles include...dreams, when the partys over, home, blinding lights, and break my heart. i hope to hear more reactions from you on pentatonix. ty and be safe in these troubled times.

Since you asked for recommendations from them, I'd highly recommend Bohemian Rhapsody (their version with no musical instruments is truly incredible), Sound of Silence, Mary Did You Know, Amazing Grace, and Daft Punk.
