You're the only videos I watch for Cricut. Your voice is so calming and motherly!
Aww, thank you so much for the kind comment, Lacey! I try to speak to others the way I wish to be spoken to! 😍
Makers gonna learn is good too. ::)
By far the BEST!
Thank you for being so clear and keeping everything simple!
So glad to help out! Thanks for being here! :)
Thank you for the information. I don’t have an easy press so this will help me decide on which one I need.
Great video. Super helpful. I love your voice and the pacing of your speech (not too fast, not too slow, but just right!). I’m probably going to buy one over the next few months or ask for one for Christmas.
Thank you for all the information. I am considering getting a easy press 2, and your video has helped me decide. Can't wait to watch other of your videos. I have so many things I want to make for Xmas gifts.
You are so welcome, Annie! I'm glad it was helpful! 😍
wonderful informative video as usual-thank you kindly-hugs
The heat guide is brilliant! Bookmarking it for sure! Thank you so much.
YAY! Happy to help!
Where do you get the heat guide
Thank You For Sharing This Video. Very helpful ❤️
Thank you for so much information. You answered many questions that I have wondered about. You’re the Best! Love ❤️ you
Awe...thank you!
I used the same logic when they were on sale. I thought I would use the 9x9 more but chose the 12x10 so I could do all projects. Glad I did
Yeah! I think if you know you're going to do some big things, might as well start with the larger one from the start. :)
What about mugs. Would I buy mini?
Great video! Answer all off my questions, just got the easy press 2 was a very helpful video, thank you very much Jennifer! Hugs Liz x
I love your videos, so informative and professional
very long video, but very informative thank you for sharing with us I haven't got an easy press yet I have to save up for it. Vicky Texas ❣️
I bought the large Easy Press 2 last year for applying the fusible interfacing that is so important for bag making. Works wonderfully. Now that I have a Cricut Maker, I can use it for so much more.
Totally agree!
I just got an Easy Press 2 for th e same purpose. I don’t have the Cricut maker. I was just wondering if you had any tips you learned when you got your Easy Press 2? Thanks
I love these what not to do videos. I don't mind learning from my mistakes but appreciate your sharing and saving us time and money. 😊
Happy to help, Theresa! 😉😍
What can I clean my Cricut easy press with?
IKR?
Thank you for this video, i just got my cricut easypress and your video is very helpful in attempting to master my first project. Thank you, thank you!
You are so welcome!
Great tips! Just bought the easypress 2 and can’t wait to use it now.
Hope you enjoy it! I wouldn't be without mine! 😁
Thanks for this great video. I just bought an Easypress to go with my new Explore Air 2 that’s still in the box because I’m scared to use it. You make me want to take that Cricut machine out of its box and hold my Easypress up high in the air and shout “I CAN DO THIS!” You’re smart and pretty and I love the way you talk.
Awe...thank you so much! You CAN DO THIS!
I absolutely love your videos. You have a great knack for breaking things down without drumming it down. I have saved myself hours of frustration by watching these videos first rather than the trial and error method I have used for years! ❣️
YAY! So happy to help!
IKR! I’ve found video’s of hers on just about everything I’ve ever needed to know. I love her ❤️👍🏼
I have all three easy press 2 and I love them especially fir the infusible ink because my big swing away heat press can move the infusible sheet and mess up my project. Thanks for this video.
You are so welcome! 💜
Great video! I have the EasyPress Mini and love it but for some bigger projects, it does alright but I worry of doing too much or not enough. It also takes more time. I think the 9x9 would be a good option for me. Thanks for going over the tips/tricks etc for it. Helped me understand the device a lot better!
Aww so happy to help! 😊🌻
I ordered my easy press 2 the 9 x 9 one. Cnt wait to use it. Thanks for your informative video. I really enjoyed it.
You are going to love your Easy Press 2, Sharonica! It is a true game changer! Glad the tutorial helped you out! Enjoy! :)
@@JenniferMaker you are right. I love it. I got it last wednesday and I'm in loveeeeee.
This vid was so helpful! I am purchasing on this week and had so many questions.
Glad it was helpful! Hope you like yours as much as I like mine!!! 😍
Thank you!! I am now ready to get my EasyPress!
I love my Easy Press 2. I bought the largest one so that I could do anything.
Just bought my first easy press! So excited! 9x9..
YAY! You're going to love it!
Thank you for the video. I got one for Christmas and was a little confused on what the vinyl and shirt Temps should be, I felt a little overwhelmed but now I bookmarked it to my Google. Thank you again 💓
You are so welcome! 💜
I bought my easy press 2 9 × 9 last year when I was in the U.S, and I still haven't used it. But this week, I plan to start making some designs on cloth face masks. Searched for some tutorial videos and saw this one. :)
You got this! Best of luck with your Easy Press!
@@JenniferMaker thank you. Am excited but at the same kinda nervous for my first use. :)
Would love to see a video about centering/aligning htv on items (shirts, bags, etc.)
I second this lol
Than you for taking the time to post these videos which as so helpful for many!!! Very much appreciated, you are amazing!
Glad you like them!
Thanks for the tips and sharing 💕
You are so welcome!
Can I use both vinyl and infusible ink in a design on the same t-shirt?
Great informative video! I'm a new subscriber and I like you! I just ordered a 6x7 Cricut heat press and a 12" mat. I'm so excited to use it on many projects!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thanks for subbing! Best of luck on your projects!
Thank you this was a big help
Great vid for us beginners!! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video thank you. I noticed that you put a pad inside the shirt before pressing and you only did the design on the front. Do I have to do that?
Glad to know the basics for when my easy press 2 gets here!
Your honest help and advice is very helpful!
Glad to help!
When this came up on my CZcams suggested videos I rewatched it because you always give good advice. I now have the mini along with the one EP and two EP2's, so, yes, I love them. I did six shirts a week ago (I did post them). But here's a funny story with infusible ink. I had to slice out where black was going to go on blue skateboards. Now I'm placing my transfer sheet on the shirt and being very careful to line up and fit in all the black where necessary. I even strategically taped down the edges so nothing would move. Put the butcher paper on top, used my large EP2, and guess what I didn't do? I forgot to put ink side down on my shirt - never turned the darn thing over. Holy cow and yikes. So now I have a beautiful image on my butcher paper. But there seems to be quite a bit of ink on my sheet so I quick turned it over and pressed. Voila! A bit more distressed than I initially expected, but came out fine and got lots of compliments on FB.
LOL, Charlotte! Sometimes our boo-boos turn out to be our best projects! 😂
i guess it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to watch newly released series online?
@Jordan Willie flixportal :P
@Felipe Landry thank you, signed up and it seems to work :D I really appreciate it!
@Jordan Willie no problem :D
I just bought the easypress2 and got it yesterday, I haven’t even looked at it yet because I have been battling a major migraine. But I got it to to replace my heat press that I just sold. I got this because of the capability of taking it with me if I need to.
I hope you feel better! I love that it is easy to transport.
Thank you so much for all this fabulous info 🤗🤗🤗
Glad it was helpful!
Loved the video. Very helpful.❤
Your tutorials are the very best! So clear and easy to follow. Thanks for being my Cricut guru!
Glad you like them! Thanks so much!
Thanks for video.
Thank you for this great video!

Thank you I didn’t know which one to get tomorrow I’m buying my cricket easy press 2 the 10 x 12
Super! Glad I was able to help! 🥰
I love Your style of teaching
Thank you! 😃
I have requested this item for my birthday. I will be getting my Cricut tomorrow (hopefully), so at least I’ll have some practice with actually cutting before I get it. Fingers crossed!
Awesome!
Thank you heaps for your videos ….all the way from Australia
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@JenniferMaker 🙂🙂
Thanks for this video I'm waiting patiently on my easy press 2 order 🇯🇲

Glad I could help!
Thank You So Much I just Got The Easy Press 2 12X10 and gonna do the 1st Bag With the Cricut Logo, I like and hit that big Red Button You Make It so easy And I Really appreciate all your help your a pro at this, yippee yahoo!!!
Awesome! Thank you! 💕
This was so helpful! Just made a sweatshirt for my daughter, while watching. :)
Wonderful!
I realy appreciate if you give us some tricks to use the 10 x 12 Easy press in small projects
It is just so difficult to use a bigger press for a smaller project, Katya! That is why Cricut came out with the Mini Press! That little cutie can get into the small spaces! 😉🥰
Great video i mostly use the mini tiny one
Cool! I love using the mini press.😃
For those of us with limited space- the smaller heat press is really our own option. You had concerns about using the smaller one on larger size graphics -and overlapping the heat press? Any chance you can show us best methods and issues?
That would be a great tutorial. Please add your suggestion here - jennifermaker.com/projectrequests Thank you! :)
Do you have a printable version of Tips for using the easy press? I like to be able to refer to the printed guide when I’m doing the project.
I do not have a printable guide for the easy press! Not a bad idea for me to create one though! :) Thanks for suggesting it!
Have you tried the heat press on bamboo products? I’m noticing more clothing options made from a bamboo hybrid.
Thanks for your videos.
Great suggestion!
Wish I had thought to watch a video of this task before I started the project because I put the iron-on backwards!! I melted it & luckily it came off easy but now I've looked through all the of the Help Center for cleaning & cannot find anything. I hope you talk about it !! Thanks for helping !!
Oh no! I'm sorry it melted! If you need to clean the bottom of your Easy Press, make suer it is unplugged and cool, then use an iron cleaning product, like Dritz Iron Off Hot Iron Cleaner at www.joann.com/dritz-iron-off-hot-iron-cleaner-1-oz/1707116.html
Hi Jennifer I love your videos! I was wondering where can I get the easy press 2 9x9 size in lilac? I can't seem to find it anymore and I'd love to have it match my lilac cricut explorer air 2(can't see myself paying 200+ for the 12x10 size 😭 )
Keep looking on the Cricut.com site. They sell so fast and the demand is very high.
I just bought the 9x9 Easy Press 2. Can I still do baby items?
I love ur videos! I have the 9 & 12 and a mini but the really mini mini good for socks & small Onesies and I use them all lol
So glad you enjoyed the video!
Watched to the end to see about the tricks used when using the big heatpress2 when it comes to seams and zippers but it wasn't mentioned. Other than that it was good to know more about the different heatpress as I plan to buy on on a few months.
This might be helpful for you. :) help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009378294-Cricut-EasyPress-Working-around-seams
@@JenniferMaker thank you
Thank you so much for putting the time into this video. I have the easy press 2 and when I try to prep the cotton shirt by folding it in half and ironing it my press leaves white line marks. My temperature is at 305 degrees and after I’ve applied the vinyl it leaves additional white line marks. Am I doing something wrong or do you have any suggestion?
That is strange. Does the easy press have anything on it that could be making the marks?
Hi Jennifer! First I love your videos and learned a lot from them and finally decided to purchase the cricut maker and easy press 2. I got a question as I got the easy press 2 and on its plug it says max 130v and not to be used outside north america. I currently lived in Singapore with 220v. I dont know what to do, help me please! Im scared it will blow or cause fire. And i really really want to use the easypress. Thank you!!!
Oh, this would be a question for Cricut! I concentrate on Cricut projects, and leave all the questions for the cutting machines themselves for the knowledgeable experts at Cricut to handle! Here is how you can reach them! 😉😍

Hi, first of all thanks for all the videos you make to teach others. I have a question, is it mandatory to wash a shirt before applying the HTV? I'm new and know pretty much nothing about this
Not at all
i just got the small one... cant afford the big one and I'm ok with having to play around with the bigger designs. I'm fine with moving it around... yea could mess up, but that's possible with any size.
Absolutely!
Great video, now for the dryer sheets and softener, Is that just the first time you wash or every time you wash?
Diana, if you can every time.
Does it matter if the large Cricut mat is folded when stored? (Since that’s how they are sold) Thanks for the great video. You mention yesterday’s video, I looked is it somewhere other than CZcams, I didn’t find one.....
It is okay to store the mat folded.
I like it. Thanks for the information.
Glad it was helpful!
Good job young lady,thank you
Thanks for watching! 🥳
Jennifer Maker, you rock! 🎸
Thanks so much! 😃
As a new Cricut owner… I love your videos!
Thank you!
I am thinking about getting one of these for all the pressing I have to do with my fabric when making quilts. Is this good to use on fabric just to press it?
Yeah, definitely.
Just purchased easy press 2 12x10 and I am eagerly searching for everything I need to know omg
Yay! you will love it! ✨
have you used the wool pressing mat that quilters use? Do you recommend using it
I have not, but I would imagine it would be close to the Easy Press mat. :)
I've added the heat guide to the home screen on my Android by clicking the 3 dots on the right and it gives many options and one is add to your home screen.
Nice! 💚
great advice...I bought mine over a year ago and I have done mistakes...just bought one for my daughter. Love your channel. I got some great tips from you...wish my craft space looked like yours...Im in an unfinished basement looks like a craft mess.
Thanks so much for being here! Your unfinished basement will get there! :)
Jennifer, what do you find is the BEST HTV you have used that holds up well? I want to sell my shirts and I have been using Craftables HTV and so far so good, but I just am worried that maybe there is another better perm HTV vinyl that I am not aware of. Love your videos. Hope your feeling better!
I do like the Cricut Every Day Iron On Vinyl. Here's a link (affiliate): www.amazon.com/Cricut-2004679-Craft-Supplies-Multicolor/dp/B07FBRKTB3/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=cricut+white+htv&qid=1575934287&s=arts-crafts&sr=1-25&linkCode=sl1&tag=jennifer00e-20&linkId=337d0e410888025eba81653c57bf1b60&language=en_US
Hi Jennifer, buying this iron will be a big investment for me so I’d like to know if I needed to could I iron my jeans with it?
Also when the one person asked you what’s for dinner I just knew your answer would be Flat Iron Steak..lol
Have a safe and Happy New Year
Carrie
I don't see why you couldn't iron your jeans with it. :) Hmmm flat iron steak sounds so good thanks for putting it back in my mind. ;-)
Thanks for the informative video Jennifer. I have the Raspberry 6x9" to start off with. I am considering buying the 12 x 12 mat. Do you think this would be a good size?
It all depends on what you are using it for, if you are making things that take up your mat, it would be amazing to have it! :)
Thank you. :)
Thank you for the helpful videos! One issue I keep having though is when I try to place a HTV design perfectly over a wood veneer piece of the same design the HTV slides around and now my 2 pieces don't match up. I've tried literally everything to prevent this. Any suggestions?
Sounds like you are trying to layer HTV? I have a new tutorial today at 2:00PM EST, that will likely help you! :) You can watch it here: czcams.com/video/mn1DJazcrAg/video.html
Does parchment paper work instead of butcher paper? Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just got my first easypress (though I may try and return it and get an Easypress 2... I found a better deal and it seems like the Easy Press 2 would be a better option for me as I would probably upgrade it at some point anyways).
Which video or blog post of yours has tips and tricks about using the bigger easy press for smaller projects?
Butcher paper is recommended because it doesn't have a silicone coating like parchment does. I do not have any tutorials using a large EasyPress for small projects. :)
@@JenniferMaker Thank you so much!
I have heard that if a garment is pre-washed that we should not use fabric softener before adding the vinyl.
Bethany Hawkins true. Fabric softener will usually leave a film behind that will prevent the vinyl from sticking properly
I love the larger press; I can press entire quilt squares at one time!
Oh yes! Perfect for quilt squares!
Congrats on your engagement!
I love this video and want to purchase a press because of the possibilities.. then I see another new model called a Easy Press 3.. now I don't know which to get.. the 2 or 3 and if I only get one size for now, would you have advice what size to start with? I plan to make t-shirts and table runners... thanks so much. I want to say how much I love the info you give and give and give. How can we ever thank you for all the hard work you put in to provide so much education to the newbies ( like me) and the experienced? Thank you again.
It depends on how large the image is for the size you want to get. Here is a comparison of the new presses. jennifermaker.com/cricut-heat-presses/
Thank you so much for this video. I ruined a t-shirt by winging it using my easy press out of the box. Hopefully I can apply your tips for a better outcome!
Oh no! You're in the right place! Thanks for watching!😊🌻
Hi Jenifer New to your videos I just purchase the easy press 2 do you need to update machine before using it right out the box and if so what kind of USB cable do I need to order Enjoyed the video will be back Thanks so much for watching !!❤️😀❤️
No need.
My wife is wanting to get a cricut explore air 2 for her clothing, which easy press would you recommend for t shirts and hoodies if using the cut to print format ?
Oh, aren't you a darling husband! I can't give you that answer! Go as large as you can afford, understanding that the largest EasyPress IS quite heavy! For some people with certain medical problems, that could be a consideration! Perhaps she would want to visit a local craft store to take a look, and feel, at the Easy Presses, to see which feels good to her! 😍
When doing heat transfer vinyl do you recommend parchment paper in between to save your vinyl?
I use a teflon sheet
Can you use it for applying interfacing to fabric for sewing baskets, pouches, and also purchased fabric appliqués
Yes, absolutely
Thank you for all the information. Question...How do you safely clean your easy press plate?
I follow Cricut's recommendation, and use an iron cleaner to do that. But, rarely need to do it! 😍
Thank you! I had a whoopsie so I need to clean it!!
I purchased the Easy Press Mini. What do you think about this item? Should I spend a few more dollars and get the 9x9 Easy Press?
I think it's great, however, I find I use my larger one more often! :)
Like sitting down with a cup of tea and nattering to a friend about your new craft:) if your every iv Ireland pop in
Thanks for the invite! 😃💜
What else can i use htv on .love your work and your tutorials are fantastic
Here is a guide to vinyl for you. 😊 jennifermaker.com/ultimate-guide-to-vinyl/
Do you need to use parchment or anything on top of the carrier sheet while pressing?
You can if you want to, but don't necessarily need to! Make sure and look at the instructions for the project you are doing, though! Some projects will tell you to use different papers when pressing! 😉🥰
Thank you so much for your videos. which one of these can I use for baby onesies, premium vinyl, everyday iron on or sportflex iron on? Will any of these be too stiff for the baby skin?
Any of these would be fine, I don't think any of these brands are very stiff once applied unless you're using multiple layers. I have seen SO many baby onesies in our Crafters and Makers Facebook group and no one has ever mentioned anything about HTV being abrasive on a baby's skin. Thanks for watching!😊🌻
@@JenniferMaker thank you for replying. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!
Love your videos
Thank you so much!
Jennifer I have a question, I bought gift bags that are Eco-Friendly and Safe material: Non-woven fabric. What temperature should I use with my mini press, how long and should I use a cover over it???
If you go to Cricut.com and scroll down to the bottom there is a heat guide link. Here it is. cricut.com/en_us/heatguide
I’m looking to do sublimation with a live image(not cartoon) onto glitter vinyl to transfer onto a glass bottle (either sticker still or to glue on) could I use this for the print transfer?
Likely. I haven't tried but you should test it!
can you spritz with water when using a fusible interfacing? Which interfacing work best or should not be used to stiffen fabric? can you use fusible foam if you are making a bag. I am totally new to this. I got and Easy Press 2 for my birthday. thanks
You do not need to use water to press fusible interfacing onto fabric but use a cloth over it to avoid it from sticking to your iron. There are a lot of options to choose from. Joann fabrics has a variety to choose from so it is worth a trip to your local store to make sure that you get what you need and want for the specific project you are making.
