  • Cricut sent me the Cricut EasyPress 3 before it is released for sale so that I could try it out. It is a part of a heat press launch today and I will have videos on the other two releases as well so be sure to watch them all. This video covers the Cricut EasyPress 3 and we will be opening the box, setting it up, checking out the new features, and doing some FAQ. If you are wondering if you should upgrade to this Cricut heat press, this is the video for you! Decide whether or not the new features are worth the expense of purchasing a new press for yourself!

    I wouldn’t upgrade for it but I think it’s nice for those purchasing their first Easypress. These machines (along with the mats) can be quite costly, especially when first released. I wouldn’t waste the money just to have my phone tell me what setting to use when I’ve spent 3 years learning all of that. I’ll wait for more significant changes.

      Yes, I wouldn't upgrade either. I like my Easypress 2 and I already know my most often used settings. And I have made a notes for all my htv's and they're all the time visible on front of my desk. Much quicker than to take a phone, find a app, make a connection, make a new project, choose settings etc. No, it's not for me. Maybe I'm too old fashioned. :D

Therefore we do not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, because this has been recommended by doctors. My question is just to make absolutely sure, can you use the easy3 with out the application on your phone. @@AngieHolden My guys are big-3x & 4x adult, would the 9X9 still work in one press front & Back or do I need the bigger easy press 3?

    Hi how did you find the update? I am asking bc I purchased this item and it would not update so was unable to use it. I had to call customer services but that didn’t help at all. I am having to take this one back now for a refund. This is the second brand new heat press I have had since Boxing Day last year!

      There haven’t been any issues with mine!

      @AngieHolden  Před 2 lety

      Correct. It will be released by March 13th along with the presses. I have early access.

    Does this same machine cut the vinyl? Or do you need a separate cricut cutter?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  Před 2 lety

      The is only for heating your project. You would need a separate Cricut cutter to cut vinyl.

      @AngieHolden  Před 2 lety +2

      As discussed in the video, this is definitely not something that you need to upgrade for. Not sure why that it would be a money grab.

    • @kr33k00
      @kr33k00 Před 2 lety +2

      Not yet: this is called “planned obsolescence” and you can see it with the Maker machines. It’s getting more and more inconvenient to use a Maker 2, until you will HAVE to upgrade. I like your videos and my comment was not about you, but about Cricut.

      It is convenient. I do see a huge value with people that are just starting out. I probably would not use the feature a ton.
