Here is my take on the game before you buy. Three things to consider about about the game, what it is and what it is not.

Oh, and maybe I'm mistaken, but i think the early access cost is one time, with them stating early access would take a minimum of 1 year, meaning at $100 your paying less than $10 a month... Again, unless I'm mistaken.

I am right there with you on playing slow and taking my time.. In archeage it took me a whole year to build a prebuilt treehouse. lol pvp hour was a nightmare. so to be able to build my own space at my own pace is my dream come true... I also love exploring and hoarding mats and I do love running into towns and outposts and seeing what's up.. and running into people in the world... I hope to see everyone in game.. God Bless.
I also came from Archeage legacy. Everyone on my guild were sad It's ending next week. Told them to move to another game like enshrouded or like this similar. Be a potato farmer all over again. haha@!

If you play roleplay rust servers (yes. Pve rust is chill sometimes) and enjoy the open ended experience, access to creative build, economy oppportunity, but want more grind, this is the game for you. And early access offer you the ability to play without subscription.

Really tempted to give this a try....unsure if I can dedicate enough time. Do you hink it's worth getting now if I can only dedicate a few hours a week?
I fully believe so! You could load up kilns and allow things to process while you’re offline. I played in the Alpha Wilderness and did that type of play style myself… got all the way up to armor and weapons.
Only if you're not solo.
If you're solo and can only play 5-6 hours a week, it'll be literal months to get to level 20 in a few skills.
Building will be rough too.
Most your playtime will be dedicated to gathering.
Since the dawn of Lineage 2, which I played about 20 years with pauses, I am looking for another game to spend 20 years at. I want a marathon, not a sprint. And Pax Dei can be the one.
And I am also gonna play it solo.
I can see the 2-4 chars, but not sure what some one would do with 6 other than they are playing on multi servers with friends. The thing is founders pack is pre-order, it's going to be a 40 game for the basic package and than 10-15 dollars a month plus for the subscriptions prob like you stated for the extra plots and char slots. Your just pre-ordering the game is all with chance to play test it before it's released. I heard folks say they aren't clear about the subs too, it's right there on the main page of steam, people just don't read when they buy things.

I will say this, the game *has* potential hands down but also many questionmarks for me (and many others). Here are MY honest opinions and reasons to doubt on this game:
Why should I play a building only game that has aweful combat, crafting and gathering animations, no bosses for a PvE focused game and where PvP is terrible designed?
Once you re done building your town, then what? You can build your servers most badass town or just a 20x20 square house with a flat roof with chests, done. Same outcome.
Yes you could say that about a game like MC too but atleast there's many more mobs and even plenty of bossfights and explore hidden caves.
We got loads of building games already. It needs something special to stand out. Like why should I (Pax Pay) play this insted of MC or Valheim or that Hytale that is coming out?
Ohh well. Back to Swtor again I guess once WoW SoD is over (if not sooner). I rather play a "dead" mmo like Swtor with my guild still intact with still fun PvP and good story content than this.
fellow solo player here! really feel you, i read alot of stuff scaring the hell outta me to play solo, but your vid was what i needed to have, i have the same feeling about these type of games, but all the solo negativity got me scared.
What tier will you be buying?
Hey, I am just coming off the city skylines 2 debacle where they released a Beta game at full price and still can't fix whats wrong with it 8 months later. They would have saved themselves a ton of grief if they had called it early access and not charged $70 for it. Even now, a major patch was promised to us by tomorrow that reworks the whole broken economy. Thats how bad the game was on release. So bad they have to redo the economy on a city builder game. But there has been no announcement that it is actually coming tomorrow. What makes this worse is the company making the game is in Finland? Which has a law that they must shut down for the summer in less than 2 weeks. So this promised patch we might not see until after August.
Pax-Dei says it's early access and is released at a cheaper price. I am willing to give them far more leeway in fixing things than Paradox and Collosal for charging full price and saying the game was complete on release. When it is so broken and lacking features. I am willing to shell out money at a substantial discount for an incomplete early access game. But not for an incomplete finished project at full price.
I hope they charge a little less for the plots. As much as this is a social MMO and is meant to be played together, you really don't want to scare off smaller groups of players/solo players. $5 a plot would be reasonable on top of a fairly priced sub which includes one plot, especially considering the size of the plots.

Thank you, you just convinced me to buy the game. All those hater posts are mostly void shells. Pax Dei feels like Life is Feudal but it seems better thought and developed than Ark or LiF for example. Really looking forward to it.

The pricing is just ridiculous. $29 max for an early access maybe it's worth it
El juego es un espectáculo, aún estando en acceso anticipado. Falta mucho por hacer, obviamente, por eso está aún en desarrollo, pero desde luego tiene un potencial tremendo. Lo que veo absurdo es gente criticando al juego cuando lo han jugado 20 minutos y solo, le habrá dado tiempo a picar dos piedras y talar tres árboles y ya dice que es aburrido, penoso el personal. El juego se disfruta muchísimo jugandolo un grupo de 5-6 personas, de ahí en adelante, la interacción entre clases hace que para progresar en tu profesión tengas que ayudar a tus compañeros a progresar en las suyas y viceversa. El pve y pvp están bastante mejor de lo que se ha dicho de que es lo peor del juego, muy muy disfrutable. Muchas críticas malas de gente básicamente inútil.

maybe 8$ for first plot, and $+2 per additional plot seems reasonable.
Be real about this game. Pay for the privilege to early access test the game at a cost. An additional mandatory monthly fee based upon size and how many friends stay with "building" and "Crafting" a year or 2 or less who knows. Ill pass been burned several times already and getting the star citizen vibe here.

Wait for a company that can afford to make their game is all I'll say people get otherworldly hyped fir these bare bones games because there's such a vacancy of them just jave patience and don't settle for bad games sure the game will be a little better in a decade still in early access but there's no world where this is worth your money
For EA, which will last at least a year, I consider the packs like this. A $20 up front box-price purchase, plus $1.67 per month per plot subscription for each plots, paid in advance.
For one plot, it's 20 + 1 x 1.67 x 12 = 40
For Two plots it's 20 + 2 x 1.67 x 12 = 60
For Four plots its 20 + 4 x 1.67 x 12 = 100.
And EA might last longer than a year. If you like the game as it is, it's a good deal. And could only get better.
If you don't like the game, none of them are good deals -- wait and see.

Played for hours with a friend last night. It was a lot of fun, totally worth the $40. Wish I didn't have to work so I could keep playing.
I won't even get involved with this title for at least a year. After the last Alpha Phase I tested, the game is NOT ready for EA, and this will hurt the game coming out prematurely. This is a mistake.

In 2020 I asked God in absolute faith about Revelation 17:10-11 and was answered. Obama is the 8th He will do Daniel 11:21 and on because it is him.
Because of what happened in 2020 saying what would happen to my mum and dad with words that where not my own that they would not last the 1st lockdown and then have it happen because I had things like this happen all my life I was in a place of brokenness and had a contrite heart and asked about Revelation 17:10-11 the Holy Spirit answered and gave the understanding that this was the same as Daniel 11:19-21.
Long story short Obama will use what happens to Biden to get back in power. This is not my opinion my thought where not this but I put self to the side and asked in faith like we are told to do and I received to my shock. If you have a waring you must warn. There is no pride in this I don't get pleasure out of this but when you where warned what is coming you must warn.

They're charging finished game prices for a simulator that should still be in beta testing development. "Player Created Content", my foot! It's a big empty map with nothing to do once you finish your base. Big thumbs down

For me it's not about who is in political power but it is and always has been about the kingdom of God and his authority. My family and I have completely put our faith in Jesus for a long time. I have many testimonies of God answering my prayers for healing, and he has always come through. I have a lot of plans for future videos on this.

Obama is the man of sin and is the 8th and of the 7, Daniel 11:21 and Revelation 17:11.
Trump is the 6th and is the king that is and he is turning his face towards the fort of his own land and shall stumble and fall and not be found, Daniel 11:19 and Revelation 17:10.
Biden is the 7th and shall only be in power a short time and will be known as a raiser of taxes, Daniel 11:20 and Revelation 17:10 he must continue a short space.
This came to me in the spirit from the Holy Spirit when asking for discernment about Revelation 17:10-11 KJV in June 2020.
I have tested the spirit and it is the Holy Spirit he has done so much in my life bringing me from the world and to Jesus and this is what the Holy Spirit said to me in my spirit when I came and asked God believing like a child trusts a parent fully and without question and in humbleness.

And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Donald Trump was the sixth king the "one is". And Trump is at the point in Daniel 11 19.
Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.
The other not yet come and is in for a short space is Joe Biden that is the raiser of taxes from Daniel 11 20.
Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Barack Obama is the eighth and he was of the previous kings before him and he is the person in Daniel 11 21.
And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
Obama is that man of sin and this isn't my opinion or understanding I didn't even consider him I am just saying what came to me when I asked for discernment we will see the next USA president raise taxes and only in a short time. Obama will not be voted in "they shall not give the honour of the kingdom" but talk his way back into power "but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.".
Also people say but there are so many presidents how is Trump the 6th and I have said all I know is what I got in the spirit then I said to someone Ronald Reagan was the 1st to bring in noahide laws. Ronald Reagan was the 1st president to sign a proclamation 4921 saying that the noahide laws are the moral foundation of America's character, that the Noahide Laws are a moral code for all regardless of faith, and from that time all have signed these into law. If you count from Reagan to Trump then Trump is the 6th. Also Revelation 17:10 is meant to be known when it happens because it says "and one is" and that is present tense so that prophecy is to be known when the 6th leader is in power why else would Jesus give to John to use present tense in prophecy.
The Holy Spirit said the one after Trump will be used by Obama to get back into power with flatteries and not being voted back into power. I do not know how this happens I am just saying what I got from the Holy Spirit. But there is one thing I seen recently. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announcing legislation that would create a commission to allow Congress to intervene under the amendment and remove the president from executive duties. She said this is not for Trump but for presidents after Trump that are mentally or physically impaired. With this they can move power from a president that is not able to perform there duties and move it to another that is not the VP.
This came to me in the spirit from the Holy Spirit and I have had other things happen in my life that I know was from the Holy Spirit.
This is not my opinion or from my understanding I did not consider Obama before this or have him in mind and when I had this come to me I didn't even want to share it at 1st because I know what people are like.
But when you see danger you must say and this is a warning of what is coming soon.
Believe or don't but at least remember because it is coming soon and when you see know time is very short and we all need Jesus and he is coming.
The "virus" looks like it was a strong delusion in all the world and something like that cant happen unless the restrainer is taken away from holding the evil back Daniel 12 1.

The head that has a deadly wound is of the beast kingdom not the actual person. The 5th head that is Obama was and was in power as long as he should and should never be a head/leader/president again. it says "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death" That doesn't say the head was wounded it is saying it was like it was wounded "as it were" That wound is the fact the head cant have power again but that 5th head that is Obama when he gets power back is the deadly wound being healed and he becomes the 8th and of the 7.
Revelation 13:7 "And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations."
Daniel 11:33-35 "And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days. Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.".
The man of sin will have his time and he will overcome the believers and we that truly believe in Jesus are to be sheep to the slaughter and we need to no mater what happens stand for Jesus and not fall away.
All heads accepted the Noahide laws from that small people that say they are the light of the world but reject Jesus with Reagan as the 1st making him the 1st head.
1st head Ronald Reagan, 2nd head George Bush, 3rd head Bill Clinton, 4th head George W. Bush, 5th head Barack Obama, 6th head Donald J. Trump, 7th head only in power a short time is Joseph R. Biden and the 8th head the last ever USA president is also the 5th head and of the 7 Barack Obama.
