Very useful! I hope anyone going to Kilimanjaro watches this!
Definitely! I had similar issues when hiking the Inca trail
Want to climb Kilimanjaro in a few years! This is so helpful
Can't wait to see your video of climbing mountain.
Just added climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to my bucket list thanks
really helpful Alex with the video about packing and information.

Great video Alex, was at Kilimanjaro last year
Fantastic list 👌
Thanks for posting this. I summit Kilimanjaro in about a month and a half and your list and the why's are super insightful.
Thank you and good luck. It's tough, pole, pole.
Very interesting.
I’d love to hike Kilimanjaro one day!
Nice map. I have the same one. Enjoythewood?
What about the backpack and jackets? Could you share ideas on down fill, 650 vs. 800 down fill jackets for Kilimanjaro. Thanks.
My trip is coming up in March 2021. Can you tell me what absolute vaccinations Tanzania is requiring for entry? My best friend who is going with me says the CDC is still not advocating for the yellow fever shot however i've read that it was a mandate. Also thank you so much for the packing video.
Do you have a packing guide video to Machu Picchu?
Alex, I am summitting in December in three weeks or so... I have Merrel, hiking shoes (not boots).
My questions (if you would like to answer them):
1. I have sturdy Merrel hiking shoes that do not cover my ankles, not boots because the boots I find to be uncomfortable. Is this a deal breaker? Do they have to be boots perse?
2. Do I need the thermal underwear and if so, how many?
Tx in advance, Richie Kock
Any recommendations for boots? There are so many out there that claim to be waterproof but reviews on websites say otherwise. As it is the most essential item I want to be sure I have the right pair on my feet
very informative. i enjoy your videos. i know it's just a hobby but pls
consider investing in a proper microphone...
Very informative, but you can not pay me to go to Kilimanjaro, too high mountain.
