W201 Carbon fiber interior - Installation - STEVS Design

Carbon fiber interior trim kit installation for the W201. This video shows the installation of the 2.3 16v version in a Satin finish.
Installation notes:
- Clean all original interior pieces to be fitted with the trim pieces with paper towel and a cleaner. Isopropyl/water mix, window cleaner, soapy water can all work.
- Test align carbon fiber pieces to ensure correct fitment, before sticking on.
- When applying, be sure to remove all of the adhesive backing of the piece. Some may come off in more than one piece.
- Once aligned and applied, apply gentle pressure across the trim (use a microfiber towel) to ensure it is well installed.
- If there is any trimming needed, you can sand the pieces with 180 grit sand paper, or a fine diamond file.
Maintenance & Care:
To clean the carbon fiber trim, use a microfiber towel damp with water or blue Windex. Do not use any harsh solvent cleaners as it will destroy the finish.
