I love the little "pause moment" you do to explain further your plays !
Been playing Lost Zone Giratina for a little while now. Its the first proper deck i made mostly because Giratina is my favourite pokemon. Started with Melmetal V battle deck and built that up a bit. Then went to Giratina Vstar to learn the lost zone engine and i fell in love with the deck instantly. Havent had chance to pop down to a locals yet since rotation but against my sibling i've gone basically undefeated other than Lost Box games which are very 50/50.
Thanks for showing the game against Lugia SS. I haven't been able to find much coverage of the match up and it feels like this will be one of the more common opponents. I'd be interested in hearing your opinion on a few of the Japanese lists adding in a Tropius in the Manaphy slot to deal with SS Tyranitar V. At first I thought the Manaphy was too valuable to cut, but then saw only about 50% of Japanese decks even include it.
Won my local league undefeated with Giratina yesterday, this deck feels insanely powerful right now!
Good job!
I love this deck but im skeptical about its lost zone mirror which is why I've just been playing raikou/zapdos/drapion with sky seal and hawlucha. Do you think that lost Tina is better than Arc Tina? Also what do you think about rescue carrier or energy retrieval in lost box?
Next video will be on “why tina is favoured in the lost zone mirror” :P. Retrieval isn’t worth it because 5 energy to deck is just a better card, but tbh I’m heavily considering rescue carrier already
@@jamesctcg ok lit, thanks for the fantastic deck explanations 🙌🙌
Hi James, I know this vid is already a few months old, but do you have any insights on the Charizard Ex Matchup? I feel they are very quick to get Charizard Ex into game and then pull a lot of energies setting all their team up, while I'm still trying to get the lost zone count up. I've been struggling a lot against that deck.
Try to use path whenever possible, even in the late game to stop pidgeot and use star requiem to kill a zard then boss kill pidgeot to get ahead. Trying to get Tinas to get 2 attacks off is the main way to get an advantage
How many tinas are recommended to bench per game? I feel like my tinas get bossed to death always before hitting.
Uhh it’s all about timing I guess, ideally as many as you need
@JamesCX I see.
Also the list I'm using only has 1 Sable eye, 4 rows, 3 switches, 2 energy recicler, 1 klara, 2 pokegears and 2 beaches.
I'm thinking of doing the 1 sinnoh.
4:28 you spoke so fast, I have not understood T_T
My bad will try to talk slower in future haha
