These 'How to play' deck videos with top players are top tier content man - keep it up!
Seconded, as a life long EDH Magic player the nuances of Pokémon have been weird to adjust too
Big ups to James for these video formats where we get to hear from great players who have had success with the featured deck. It also seems like James is learning from the guest as well. 🎉
Really love this series with the deep dives into not just the decks but the strategies too :)
Best video I’ve listened to in ages. Jon you need more content! Very articulate
Good quality video man, love the editing. Took a lot away from this as a Tina main.
This is such a great video. Getting the man who just won a regional with a deck to come on and talk about that deck is so valuable to players.
The only time playing two boss hurt me the entire tournament. Congrats on the win Jon
I literally just put this stuff together and I’ve been playing around with it for about a week or two
I’ve been wanting to go through a video exactly like this, as I’m not really confident in my ability to pilot the deck, so I’m so excited to really digest this
Keep up the great videos!
Such a useful video! Thanks! I’ve been playing jons list and went 4-0-1 and got 4th at a league challenge :) so gonna play it more, as I’ve been playing it heaps online this past few weeks now and in person too
Subbed for this video format
keep making these
Great video, great content! Subbed bc of it
LETS GO TYSM for this video
I agree with everything said here and it's very interesting. If I may just add one thing as a tina player since rotation : for the mew match up I usually load the bench with 3 comfey, cramorant greninja and 1 giratina. Goal is to lure them into ko the tina so I can use CC. But the goal here is to damage 3 genesect over the turn whoever it's with cramorant or sableye but not taking the ko. Then using the sableye in the end to finish them off. That way you save you baby mons early and you feed them single prizers afterward and you're free to use CC, path and Roxanne as much as you want. Because thing is the vmax can use the 70 attack to ko a comfey and heal back in the deck which makes it hard to get the second wave of 3 prizes. So I like to do 2-2-2 prizes instead of 3-3. Doing that way I've experienced way more victories in this match up that is supposed to be unfavored
When should Gardy ping the Tina Vs with Cresselia instead of KOing a comfey or using Scream tail to KO greninja or something.
Any idea why I can't play Pokecom 3.0 item kart in TCG online? I was literally building my deck like this online and it says, "Pokecom 3.0 is no longer allowed in this format" even tho it has G and should be played..
hearing what he said about lost zone deck match ups makes me confident in playing sablezard lol
How would you go about playing giratina if your opponent is using a charizard deck?
bradner must’ve watched this video
I cant find the charizard guide. Was it on this channel?
it''s on my second channel jamesctcg2
Would be beyond sick if you some how could come out with a video like this for mew before this weekend
Who would you want to see with mew?
Don't know how fast and easy it would be to get one the players that's stuck with the deck for a long time like Vance or Xander there's some other good picks out there too. I would want it to be someone that's on DTE or has a lot of reps on both. IDK I trust you as a player and I think whoever you get will be a great choice. Keep up the great content! (:@@jamesctcg
Gotta be Rowan, Xander, Gabor or one of the finnish mew players surely@@jamesctcg
I just printed proxies of this deck for my 7 yo nephew. I have no idea how this run, this helps!
Extremely do not recommend giving the most complicated deck in the format to a 7 year old
@@Lu6azz. understood. Dialing it back to Lost Box.
the one matchup I am curious about is the Lugia Vstar. I think it's similar to how you approach Mew Vmax, but still wouldn't have mind hearing his opinion on it...
I try to make these as thorough as possible in the time I have by only talking about the most important matchups, but I might try to have a 30 second matchup rundown at the end for the more fringe matchups in future! I also imagine its very similar to mew
@@jamesctcg no stress bro, the content is still fire 🔥
can you please bring out a video how to play vs these f*cking gholdengo decks as a giratina vstar player?
blind u go 1st for sure is good for mid moon even zard only bad against mirror or lzb
