The audio system didn't "quiet down" on the high notes (that's not a thing). She moved the mic further away from her mouth to disguise the fact that her voice has lost a step. No shame in that, by the way -- she's still a great artist.
People now a days aren't use to "live" performances without lip syncing " or "auto tune" This is a "live performance and none of that mentioned previously was present. yes I noticed she had some problems with her earpiece to and that would throw anybody's voice off. BUT in my opinion she did an amazing job!! I just love her voice 😊 OK I'm going to add something here to put an end to all the horror stories that I have seen on here about her voice. They said since she took time away and came back she can't sing anymore. I BEG TO DIFFER!!! I just saw a full on concert that someone graciously added on their channel of her singing live (like she always likes to do) in 2023. Guys, She still can hit those notes 🎼It was Heaven 🙂 Thank you for sharing 🙏
I love Martina. Her voice is iconic and she has a huge heart. I remember back in 90s she had said, more than once, that she doesn't warm up before performances. She just goes out and performs. And if you aren't taking care of your voice by warming up, this is what happens. Conversely, LeAnn Rimes talked extensively about her having to warm up before each performance because she wanted to take care of her voice. Regardless, glad both women are still doing their thing. Keep at it. The fans love you.
What kinda gem? I'd say true Shungite. There's silver, and then there's True Silver. True Shungite is still used to purify drinking water in unfortunate circumstances. Martina has a similar quality, amongst other things... "The wealth of Moria wasn't in gold or gems, the toys of the dwarves."
She has a beautiful voice, great singer who could cross genres, and is stunning looking, if you are her daughter ask her can she sing hurt by timi yuro, if she does requests, lol , thank you and have a nice day.
She was still hitting most of the notes, blame the sound guy lol. She was pulling away from the mic on the chorus(as she should)and the sound guy wasn't compensating. Also, a lot of crowd noise/sing a long. Stop hating, she's still better than y'all!🤣🤣
@leewayneblue9339 definitely not wrong lol. If you compare this to other performances the sound is night and day, not just the vocals. I'm a professional musician, and I've ran sound many of times...so that's my credentials to speak on the matter. What's yours?
I'm sorry, but this isn't an isolated incident. She hasn't sounded good for awhile, so unless it's been "the sound guy" for the last few years then I think she is the root cause of the issue.
