I love how you share your vulnerable side with us, shows us what a strong person you are. It's so nice to be able to see you outside the stage, as a person, not as a character you have to pretend to be. I really appreciate your videos :)

Sara, I've been locked onto ballet so much this week. I was a dancer from as early as I can remember. I made so many sacrifices in life because I knew this is what I wanted more than life. I danced at 2 companies growing up and at around 17 I became a corps member for the NJB. I will never forget how happy I was, I also fast tracked my way to Principal incredibly quickly. I had never been so happy in my entire life. When I was 24, I was in a horrible car accident. I'm lucky I'm still here. I broke my sternum which is your chest and it protects your heard. Had the break been 1 cm more I would have punctured my heart and bleed out. Hearing the words "you will never be able to dance again" was the worst day of my like. Who was I supposed to be now? What was I supposed to do? It was terrifying, I was lost, and my heart and my mind were just broken. For many years after that I didn't want to watch any ballets, teach, or have anything to do with ballet because the mental anguish and pain were too much. Knowing I worked my whole life for something that was just taken from me in a matter of seconds was beyond devastating. Anyway the past few year's I've went to the Nutcracker and met so many beautiful dancers from all over the world thanks to social media, and I do love ballet again, just in a different way. You and you videos and everything you're shared made me a huge fan of yours. Your talent is amazing and your so intelligent, your not the average ballerina, you have so much depth. You also have such a high awareness level that most people don't. I love the way you express yourself and the emotions you transcend to your audience. I also love how real and honest you are. I really hope I get the opportunity to watch you perform this season. Watching all these clips and "The City Ballet" has really made me a fan. You're such an incredibly talented dancer, you're artistry is such a gift. I've teared up watching you dance on these you tube videos, and you blow my mind each and every time. Stay Blessed and thank you for sharing so much in these clips. I really hope I get the opportunity to see you dance☆

Hi! I've just watched this, and I noticed that part of the sound was pretty muffled, like there was water running nearby or something. What I made out sounded like...the Gala she showed earlier was to commemorate the life of a young dancer in the company, who died suddenly a couple of years earlier. It sounded like she and Sara had been good friends.
