You should take some cues from 2Vintage and put something in the title like "SELLER SAID RAN WHEN PARKED". But one up him with the big capital letters and have a dropped mouth reaction face or something of that nature popping in the thumbnail. Big time views Andy! Are you sure you can trust that shop service manager to rebuild that crank properly? Make sure he's actually worked on stuff before and isn't just some big talking paper pusher before you give it to him :) That is some carnage, was really hoping that this one would just be a wash, battery, and carb clean! Never easy in the used ATV market LOL.
Wow that was catastrophic the pitting on piston head and skirt looked like it sucked up a sand storm or do you feel detonation could be at play,your case is almost as bad as 2vintage found in his cub cadet mule that owner said ran fine till it locked,its amazing that jug is not more wacked then case is.in 2vintages teardown when he got top off there was no piston complety gone.i thought joke was on him that previous owner removed piston but still wouldnt turn.then put everything back together.truth was piston was ground up by journals.yep and as amazing as that is his case was fine,just full of bits n pieces.yours is just opposite jug is fine,crank is ok but case is wrecked beyond repair.crazy how fate can mess with ur head.well at least the web got u replacement since cant get oem.!!snooky pa.😊😊😊😊
