Great to see you going around Norwich town centre. 6pm on a Saturday is dead until the night life starts. Stay clear of Prince of Wales Road. Full of nightclubs and fights ;) In a daytime Mon-Friday Norwich Market is so busy. My uncle owned a hotdog stand trailer where the dinosaur outside Santander, which was the old entrance to the Bell Hotel pub. Also you walked past The Royal Arcade and back around the other side where those line of shops had cover, where the other dinosaur was (outside Norwich Market). Keep safe pal .
Pity you didn't have more time, you were so close to some great parts of the city ( not town, we have 2 cathedrals!). We also have the most medieval churches in Western Europe I believe. The " some sort of market" is one of the oldest, largest outdoor markets in the country! Please try to find more time and have a proper visit one day, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised!
