Still think you should keep the outhouse if not for storage at least for a place that you could use to go to the bathroom when you are wet from the pool. Why not paint it? You could really make it attractive. Just a thought. Pool looks great!
@@dreamlifeportugal just had a thought. If you have any paint left over from painting the pool why not paint the cement blocks the same colour? You could just use the mat you bought for the top of them so they aren’t so scratchie to sit on. It is hot here in Vancouver Canada right now and we are supposed to get higher temperatures so I am pea green with envy over your pool!

If you put plants that keep the water clean. You could also have a small solar pump that oxygenates the water. And a few lot fish???the cats might try to get the fish ???

Hi Suzi, in that heat a sun hat and good sun cream vip! Pool looks great! Clever idea to cover blocks with plastic fabric. I love the unpointed walls and rustic tiles. Also terracotta pots are so collectable esp old ones on market place. Painted: 🙄 You may get an idea of cheering up a cement wall with natural slate tiles. See, The Quinta, Portugal, where James, Skinny and Christina are doing a reno. These two hot months are so tiring, and most important just to keep your orchard and plants sprayed ie, water washed for dust on leaves and soaked. Yes, gratitude, for everything, is no 1 priority. Do you like baking? Learning new recipes is a very rewarding hobby! Check out South African family recipes!!🎂☕🦋🐝💐🌄 Well, we are freezing in Cape Town, and seeing the sun in Portugal is just great!! Hey Suzi - very glad you braved the pool ! Well done. Out of interest have you been able to power the pump from the former kitchen or bathroom - or is it coming from your house? Also - I would probably be tempted to extend the reach on your net handle as (from experience of staying at John's mates place in Spain...) I didn't want to get in the pool until I had got all the surface crud out...can you reach from outside the plunge pool to the back corner? Love the colour and design of your seat covering. Really hope that works well as it looks gorgeous.
Michelle, I only have power inside the house. I probably could get an outside power socket fitted. However, it’s not a big issue. I can reach most of the pool with the net and just do the rest once I hop in. The seat covering is great. Soft and cushioned to sit in and waterproof 😀
I find your when you are talking your video's are so slow - almost like someone teaching a bunch a kids - so I have to up the speed of the video to make it sound normal. Not sure if you are aware or if there is a problem with your video speed.
The speed seems perfect and definitely not like speaking to a bunch of kids ! so it must be a problem your end . Your phrasing is very condescending and unnecessary.
Thanks for the idea to increase the playback speed of her videos. I tried it and it made the video much more enjoyable to watch. I also felt the speech was just way too slow. Maybe that's just her way of talking.
I think she talks like that. Most videos I speed up the videos and skip ads and even fast forward if the task is monotonous. I’m busy too. My time is important too.
You must be a person that complaints about everything. There was never a problem with her video speed or recording. Go look at other people video's and there you find more that speaks there funny twangy way like Bailey's Homestead.

Actually the covering on the bricks is cushioned so it’s very comfortable 😀💕
