2:52 Welp, that's the closest we'll ever be to a voice reveal
1:42 she cameos more heavily in twisted, and i think she was named there as well, she just wasn't given a proper non-silhouette design until game and wario
1:36 5-Volt's official debut was actually in Twisted, as her name appears in the credits in that game. And then we have this, then we don't see her again until Game & Wario. Too bad she was completely absent from Smooth Moves and DIY, though.
Honestly, if this is the worst WarioWare and it's made by people who had not worked on the series before, I'd say the track record of the series is overall pretty good then; means that the people who worked on this have since done nothing but improve, assuming they stayed.
Plus, it makes for a good entry point, which certainly works with the DS's target audience.
2:58 Sounds like all you could make the parrot say was an explosion SFX. And, hey! That lines up with actual Parrots in Minecraft! So, uh, good for you?
"let's pet a jello" - someone took that too far in the Switch's JP announcement direct
Booba jelly
9:49 insert Tidus laugh from FF10 here
0:11 the mario is still inaccurate by 1 singular pixel when zoomed out.
shame on you, Nintendo!
I like how the credits have hearts, Ws, Triforces and Gamecube logos raining from the sky
0:06
...Damn, he was quicker than that.
Oh snap, I’ve never seen you play a Kirby game. That’ll be fun.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of my favourite games! I can’t wait to see you play it!
9:50 After Kirby Tilt n Tumble got its first ever rerelease on NSO, there is hope yet.
It’s time you gave up touching
Around the end of the credits, the credits music was starting to make a passing resemblance to Locke's theme from Final Fantasy 6.
2:15 Funnily enough I kept one on my window at my last place of residence. The occasional jangle was nice, though it caught on microphone sometimes if I recorded at the wrong time.
2:56 They must've perfected this technology with the parakeets in the DSi / 3DS sound apps.
11:24 Ooh, I dig that part of the medley where Ashley's theme comes in.
Anyways, D.I.Y. will still be my choice of DS WarioWare, really. I like it. Maybe because it was my first and only direct WarioWare experience.
I vaguely remember the parakeet toy barely working for me too. I think it's just not sensitive enough. Plus it's not like the original DS mic was good at picking up identifiable sound instead of just noise from air blowing into the little hole.
"STILL haven't beaten Tears of the Kingdom"...I mean, it's a huge game, I've been playing it every day since it released and I've only done one of the main quests.
0:32 I mean... He kinda sort of does play videogames all day.
3:46 This one is my favorite Mircogame of this set.
4:08 I also like this Mircogame too.
6:00 The Best Treasure hunt of all time.
6:20 I don't know why I struggled with this one
I saw the secret message, and I’m not saying what it is.
9:46 I mean they did announce Kirby Tilt N' Tumble for NSO, so there could be a chance of that happening.
It's funny, I remember there being a lot more to this game than there really is.
wow this sure was a playthrough
This game might not really stand as tall as the others but it's still a really fun game in it's own right and it got me into the series pretty handily. I'll always have a soft spot for this one and Twisted.
PS you probably know but there's bonus tat for having Twisted in the GBA slot when you play this, I think it's just the Japanese version of Mona Pizza and/or Ashley's Theme, it's been a while so i'm not certain.
how much touching did I miss?
We have finally finished touching Wario
6:01 Wario is definitely the kind of guy that would use counterfeit money with his face plastered on.
9:11 I mean, not like WarioWare games were ever really meant to be those gaming masterpieces, so it is kinda hard to compare when the only real difference is that there's 2 hours of content instead of the usual 3…
_what was the secret message?!_
06:29 I think that's a Гizard.
Idk if this is true, but I wonder if you recorded a floor per "episode" of your playthrough of Pizza Tower
13:17
3:10 Speak for yourself, I'd be way more eager to chow down
1:54
4:18
0:31 To be fair you can at least have variety in the kind of games you play all day so it won't get old as quickly as other activities.
0:55 I'm pretty sure that's a purse, not a baby. Still begs the question why the woman is there...
1:36 Most likely based 5-Volt on this generic Japanese mom shadow design.
6:08 Great theme and good gameplay so honestly, yes!
7:48 Apart from Pyoro T which you unlock by getting a silver crown in all albums (can't blame you for not going for it) and the tat you get by scoring enough points in it yeah, that's it.
8:15 Unfortunately, I have to agree: short even for WarioWare standards, lots of tat, very few minigames (I also misremembered there being more of them) and it doesn't even have multiplayer unlike similarly short WarioWares.
8:54 Exactly, except that even that had more "minigames" (although admittedly not nearly as good as the ones usually in WarioWare) and I'd go as far as to argue that Gaddgets were overall funnier than this one's tat. And yes, I admit being depraved enough to have actually played that game that long!
10:30 Loved Kirby and the Forgotten Land so really looking forward to that series!
actually there's 5 pieces of tat that were missed:
pyoro t (unlock all microgames)
snore rope (beat score in pyoro t)
record player (beat score in snore rope)
whistle a tune (beat score in all microgames)
mona pizza (put twisted in the gba slot)
@@egon3705 there is no EU twisted anyway so it's impossible to unlock in PAL (It tests for EU so even an import wouldn't work)
@@somethingAccurate oof
As far as fulfilling the usual WarioWare role of being tech demo for the system gimmick, I think Touched performed admirably. There’s a few ideas present in the microgames that I don’t think were even tried in the DS’s lifetime!
On the other hand, as an actual game, it’s pretty mediocre. Your only incentive for getting a high score is the tat and you better be REALLY into the tat! Otherwise…welp.
