I was a kennel attendant for a while and actually tried to teach some of the birds that boarded at the vet to swear. Turns out, it takes longer than you might think.
Ryan has found such a genius niche. He's not the first or only person do to "I play all the characters interacting with each other" bit. But he does it SO dang well!!! And frankly, he doesn't go all-out with vastly distinctive accents, or elaborate changes in makeup or looks. He keeps his same beard, slapping dollar-store fake mustaches and stuff right on top. A different hat, shirt, glasses, the same short haircut maybe tousled this way or that: boom: different character. His different voices are so subtle- not like "this one's Irish and this one's Southern and this one's high-pitched and this one's a bass" they're all just "Ryan's natural speaking voice, but just different enough that it's still obvious which character is talking, even if you closed your eyes."
He's developed almost a short-hand repertoire of catch phrases that fit in almost any situation, and it's how he uses them in each situation that is so genius. Of course, all his catch phrases from his "Pitch meeting" sketches, but he almost never re-uses those in his other work. "This is a thing" "...I decided" "Oh, God" etc. And every weird, or every day scenario, he comes up with manages to use these short hand phrases to point up the satire/ humor/ absurdity with a truly elegant frugality. His short sketches can be so deep and pithy in only a few brief minutes; better than many feature-length satirical films. Genius. Keep up the great work, Ryan!

It's true, I'm usually pretty good at guessing peoples' names based on how they look, and he really looks like a Ryan to me. Or possibly a George. It's like your own profile picture, you SAY your name is Jean~Luc, but I would swear you really look more like a Patrick.

He should have a character named “Drew Doctor” and then he works as a waiter just to throw off people and as a funny joke

MY THOUGHTS ON THE SITUATION
okay so although i do feel a little bad about this whole thing, at the end of the day i feel like i was just doing my job, y'know? Sure, I ate some muffins that were meant for little kids but in my defense I was pretty dang hungry that day and the muffins looked pretty dang good. What was i supposed to do do? Not eat a muffin? Then I still would've been hungry. That doesn't make any sense. Anyway, mayor politician is way more evil than me. I'm a good guy now.
