Now imagine there being a remake of Mundial Ronaldinho Soccer.

actually the game itself is pretty rare and the game company presumably went bankrupt shortly after it's release. we'll be lucky if any copies of this game resurface at all.

I mean, its base game still sort of lives on in the form of Pro Evolution Soccer, and Bomba Patch is apparently still a thing so yeah brazilian soccer modding is alive and well it seems.
We need a Mundial Ronaldinho Soccer 64 remaster def.
my favorite thing about this channel is that you go above and beyond to explain the origins of a meme. Often memes get started in latin america and gets translated to english speakers when it blows up, like dorime or momo. Thank you for givin the credit the latin american community deserves
And confused blond lady
He got completely wrong in the explanation of this meme tbh (I'm Brazilian and played this game in the 90s as a kid and I was there when the meme started in mid 2000s)
If you want to know more about this meme just type "ronaldinho soccer meme collection" on youtube and watch the memes
This meme works with the following things:
1- it was an awkward bootleg and the narrator isn't Brazilian, he is peruvian and therefore he always sounded completly off to us
2- you trigger this meme after a meme of someone screwing something up, pretty much for aesthetics, as to frame the original meme, but it in fact doesn't say anything. It's just something we see as awkwardly funny and because of that it may fit awkward moments and scenes
People from any other country will never get the feel, because it has got to do with playing a broken bootleg as a kif and with the sound of spanish to us
It's as if you played a supermario world bootleg that transformed mario in your most famous football player (lets say... OJ Simpson) and in the beggining of the game some scottish or australian guy announced it in funny way, screaming his name and the game would have an weird name like "OJ Simpson Football World Championship!!"
That's pretty much what this meme is. And it became so huge in Brazil that it leaked else where and people kinda thought that it was probably funny if everyone is laughing about it. But actually it's not a meme for everyone. Sorry for that
Latino memes are underaprecciated, but that only means its OUR treasure.

You know, I just keep thinking about when you did a video about marselo, and I'd love it if you made a video on ¡Que Picardía!; since it not only has a great story, but also a place in the modern meme landscape, as a surreal meme.
¡Que picardía! (translated: What a slyness!), had it's origins as a meme in the now rotting forum Taringa, and indicated an emotion of "spicyness". This meme then went on to spark a war between Taringa and 4chan due to it being used politically on the latter (still being used this way to this day). And then it evolved again and can now be seen in surreal memes. Love that meme. Hope someday you cover it in your channel. Greetings from Argentina.

Man, as me being a brazilian, not of the age of the Nintendo games, but being a brazilian, this reaaaally hits on me, all this bootleg versions of game were really common here, mainly in the ps2 era, there were soooo many bootleg versions and piracy
Mainly on GTA San Andreas, and other GTAs
@@luc751 eu tenho. A americana vendia alguns jogos originais de ps2 lá por volta de 2012, 2013 por 10 reais. Ai eu aproveitei e comprei
@Iván Sánchez Fernández Yes, but it was also because of the easy piracy that it was possible to do on the Sega System, and after the Ps2, alot of people bought the 360 when it was discovery how to mod the console and all
So in my opinion i think Brazil is more of a "Piracy Media" type of country
But if i had to choose, i think we a more of a Xbox country lmao

Why is the intro so nostalgic? It's giving me nostalgia about late nights I spend sometimes at the cinema and right next to the cinema is the arcade with games still there from the mid to late 90s and early 2000s. The sounds of games before you enter a token echoes in that area, the cinema has these dim lights with red carpet, then you have the fresh smell of popcorn while playing these old games... Best experience ever... Never gets old... they should bring back games from the 90s. Somehow it always tries to get a happy tear out of me.
It’s the laugh, the crispiness and bait and switch potential. I love it
I remember that even before the meme whenever the topic was bootlegged games the older part of the Brazilian game community would remember ronaldinho soccer just because of the horrible pronunciation of the title
Also this game wasn't so popular as other bootleg soccer games
The 2 main ones here In Brazil are bomba patch for the ps2 and international superstar soccer for the SNES

Please explain Sirenhead from fallout
Wee woo wee woo
He's an SCP, he isn't from fallout
Beanos Swag That was a mod for Fallout 4. Even the original video stated it was a mod.
He is not from fallout, nor an SCP.
Siren head is something pretty different.
A guy called Trevor Henderson came up with the character of Siren-Head in 2018, a lot of people liked it, some fangames were made, someone made him a Fallout 4 mod, and then some people tried to steal him and say he was a creepypasta or an SCP despite the creator being opposed to it. Videos of the fangames and the Fallout 4 mod blew up, so people started using him for memes. Couple years down the line, enough memes have been made to the point where they're easy to find by those who weren't originally into the character or saw the start of it. Said people then get attracted to it due to its weird design and disturbing nature, leading them to share it around, making it more and more popular.

@@phoboswhiplash I still don't get... When calling something good with THE shit is a good compliment?
@@Lucas66393 It is a saying, like saying something is bad in a positive manner, (Like the title of the movie Superbad for example) coloquial speaking has a lot of these inflections, even in Spanish you can find many expresions that represent the opposite of what you are saying, a negative adjective is taken as positive depending on context of the sentence itself. Are you a native english speaker? Because it is strange to me that you are not familiar with this particular expression as it is spoken in a lot of popular media.
(In case you're not, calling something THE shit is close to a superlative form, describing it as awesome, but only if you emphasize the particle THE, otherwise you are just saying that something is shit, therefore bad)
