I live where that gun was invented. People open carry here in stores, restaurants, even the library.

Thank you for standing up to republicans about gun control. 6 parents will never hug their children goodnight making sure they are okay before the parent goes to sleep. Never hear their laughter or be able to smell them. Teach them, so many parents have things that are important to teach them and now never will be able too. Every day parents will fight to get through the day and some will commit suicide because they can't live with the pain anymore. I would be that kind of person. My daughter is 9 and I have been crying a lot the last couple of days.

I live in Quebec, just about a mile from the US border. Today I went to Price Chopper and noticed that the flag was flying at half staff. I asked the cashier if it was because of the massacre in Nashville and she said that it was. I said to her, "then I guess that you never raise it." I used to enjoy going to the USA, but I don't anymore. I don't think that I will go back.

Those being drugs, poverty and fatherless homes. All of which are connected. Until we fix those problems we won’t fix the violent crime problem. The sad thing is our government won’t end the war on drugs, they won’t hold pharmaceutical companies responsible for flooding the country with opiates and they’ll never stop treating fathers like second class citizens.
