I setup a header menu with links to: Home, Contact, Portfolio, and Linkedin. When I view my page these buttons appear in two columns instead of horizontally. How can I change their orientation? Thanks!
Update: Figured it out!
Along the menu buttons where you can change the order there are arrows where you can orient them. It's strange but got the job done. Btw, you can only line up three buttons. There must be a way to do more - there's room for them? Also, there should be a way to space them out?

Hi Allie .. We have multiple websites connected to a main home website... Someone inadvertently deleted the main footer page from the sub website. Rebuilding the website is not a problem, but having an issue trying to reconnecting the main footer page to the main home page is the problem. I don't know what the main footer page was called, possible main/header, but how do I reconnect that main footer page to the main website, so I could then rebuild the sub website from there by adding the webpages. Please advise...Thank you!!!
Thank you! I have a situation where I am using a simple theme that has a one page header, body and footer style. Footer lists a number of links (i.e. About Us, Services, Policy, ect.) , and when links are clicked, the content appears in the body section. Problem is the body section was deleted and I cannot figure out how to restore the element (presumably using the "+" tool... ) any thoughts? Thank you again!

Hi Allie, great video! I am working on my wordpress site and have been encountering a 404: Page not found error. I m using custom links as of now and haven't actually built the page. So essentially my main navigation menu returns a 404 error if i click any of those links. However another link on the footer to a similar page actually opens the page successfully. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods like editing htaccess file, resaving permalinks, checked all the custom links for typo. Can't seem to figure out what seems to be the issue. It would be great If you are able to shed some light on this. Thanks !
I understand everything you’re doing. My wife and I are starting her blog and we want the page links to come across the top of the header like you show. But ours keeps having like the three lines that is a drop down menu. She has Margot theme by 17th ave and in the example it shows it like yours. Please help!

Hi, i created a privacy policy page from wp legal pages and selected a parent page from the nav bar for it to preview on the site but it's still not working. I can only see the policy on the legal settings. I've tried everything. Can anyone PLEASE help me. I've been at this for hours now, it's unbearable. If you can't help with that any suggestions on how to customize/which plugin to use rather?

A free WP theme called anissa. Is the problem with the theme? I'm new to all of this, I'm still designing my website and I'm learning everything I need to before I actually launch my site. I stumbled upon WP Beginners and they suggested i use their privacy policy as a start (which I did yesterday) and I went to create my own disclaimer as the web failed to offer plugins that were compatible with version 4.8.1. Did I do the right thing? I'd still like to know how to create a drop down on the header menus. (sorry for the essay)
