- Some 158 French villages belong to an elite club: those deemed the most beautiful in France. In the heart of the hilly Auvergne region, in the centre of the country, the village of Usson clings to a volcanic peak at an altitude of 600 metres. Meanwhile, in the heart of the southern Aveyron region, Cantobre is a real eagle's nest. Only 15 inhabitants live on this cliff shaped by centuries of erosion. Further east, in Provence, the peaceful village of Cotignac is nestled at the foot of a spectacular rock. This village was originally built on a river.

I have no idea how tf I ended watching this video. But it was worth my time. Beautiful place
I’m here because I am reading a book called The Nightingale. So far the beginning of the book is 1930s France, countryside and is described with red roofs, cobblestoned streets, limestone buildings, ivy everywhere, green fields filled with hay or grapes. This video looks like it is matching that description. Definitely looks beautiful, delicate, and a serene place to live.

These people have the gift of longevity given the environment where they live.

Just simple houses in the village in France but all houses are still very luxurious for me if I compare to my simple home in my country 🇰🇭. I like learning French language so much but there are not many French schools in my country and French schools are very expensive for me. I cannot afford French classes
