LOVELY ECOMAT | Arriva North East Enviro 300 1355

I take a ride one of the latest transfers to Arriva North East's fleet; 1355, which has came from Arriva North West where it was branded for the 263. It makes a nice change not only to the Arriva NE fleet, but to hear a zf in an E300 rather than a common voith. Nice to see that Redcar has finally gotten some decent transfers! Hopefully Redcar could still get some new buses at some point, would definitely be nice to see all of the Whitby services receive an upgrade...
Maybe:
3x Merc Stratas (extended length) for the 95/96s
5x ADL Enviro 400MMCs for the X93
10x ADL Enviro 200MMCs for the X4 (with 2x spare at Whitby)
I would ensure that there aren't as many Double Deckers during the winter season, seeing as when they have to be kept local the 62 & 95 are the only routes that can use them, which isn't necessarily ideal, and before the 62s change the 95 & MC2 were literally the only routes aside from the X93 that could have a Decker allocated.
I would keep the B9s for the Park & Rides & X94, then during the winter transfer them to Belmont & Darlington, in an ideal world that could work... Maybe keep 1 at Whitby/Redcar during the winter with breakdowns etc...

Not yet to try this yet. Probably won't unless it pops up on the X3/X4 or X93 which I doubt will happen unless there's a extreme shortage. It will probably keep getting thrown on the 62 and 63. It would be nice to see it on them challenging routes. Although it does sound decent, it's definitely showing its age. But on a good note, it's good that Redcar are getting sent more buses at no expense which is needed and being at Redcar this won't get withdrawn unless it can't be fixed.

Arriva NW decided to withdraw them, therefore we get there knackered leftovers 😂. Tbf though, these seem pretty tidy buses
