I hope you all enjoy this video! This bus being transferred to Stevenage because of Aylesbury's closure is the reason why memories of Citaros on the 724 can be brought back to life! Now yes, it's the 725, but it follows the same route as the 724 and stops at the same places between Welwyn Garden City and Rickmansworth! Only difference is u cant go further than Rickmansworth to Heathrow and instead of Harlow, the 725 goes to Stevenage where this bus is now based; but thats the only difference! As for this lovely beast, it was my favorite one Aylesbury had and it is still amazing! I hope more of these transfer locally because where they were intended to go clearly has not been the case! Anyways, enjoy the kickdown provided form this amazing 725 driver 😊
nice video! this bus is a really shocking transfer to steevanage tbh and im not sure how this citaro managed to get through old town (steevanage) on the 725 as the roads there are a bit tight for it! also the 725 actually goes a very different way from hatifeld to welwyn garden city compared to the 724, its about 10 mins quicker then the 724 towards welwyn!
@noxyyh well its almost the same. I wasn't comparing the small differences lol 😆 but yeah this transfer has shocked me and its a pleasure to have locally. Same with that Evolution YJ60 GGO which is on my to do list when it does a 725 at a convenient time for me. Dk when I'll do that but I want it locally because it seems better than it did at Wycombe but if I don't get round to it at least I have tried it before haha
@@Glowaxy I did try it when it did 725 on 2nd day I’ll be honest it’s a bit worn out but you will likely only get a good run with a really good driver as I did on the 2nd run I got!
@noxyyh any run on it is fine with me. Just wanna catch it now its local to met and considering that it's a type that hasn't been seen in Watford apart from when Mullanys had AE56 OUM and when red rose have rarely brought along AE56 LWK. But besides the point GGO is smaller and has a 6 cylinder engine instead of a 4 cylinder so it's nice to cat h as something different anytime
Trust me mate, best one Aylesbury had in my opinion to! So, even if it's the only one that's gonna be here locally, we have the best one (from my perspective)

@will_n775 I'd love a citaro to go to Hemel tbh but who knows if that'll happen. But if it does that means at least 1 can do the X5 again! However good news is, our most recent transfer to hemel is FJ06 ZPW a B7 Gemini! Hopefully that does the X5, 302 and ofc the 322 to my home Watford :))
