It's great production quality, but I still think there's always room for improvement! I'd argue for more low-end next time, really fill out that intro and chorus some more :)
Edit: those drums sound fucking stellar tho
@@Staniel42 I agree. however. I think the less-low end may have been a personal decision to make room for the vocals to stand out in the mix. I don't necessarily believe more bass would make this any better than it already is. Most people are watching on their phones with no headphones so it's not really causing harm. (personal opinion)
@@_215Juice I didn't get much of sounding close to Gerard. The first guy maybe, second guy sounded closer to Berk McCracken. Otherwise this was still a fantastic cover

Thank you! We were without a studio for a couple years but we're working behind the scenes to get everything back on track. Also, even though DJ became a parent a long time ago, the rest of us have started families in the past few years which is definitely keeping us busy. We look forward to a comeback when the time is right.

As someone who was a sophomore in high school during what I'll call the "emo invasion" circa 2004, this song has always meant the world to me. So much, in fact, that it was the last song I played when I tried to end my life via overdose. While that was half a lifetime ago (and I grew into a happy and adjusted man), I'm always "protective" of it, and very nervous when I hear that someone is covering it.
Gerard and the boys would be proud, I'm sure. You absolutely knocked the cover off the ball!

I actually got a radio interview out of the experience. Wiretap s9e25, It's All Been Done. While Ms. Coyne (the woman I tried to end my life over in 2004) and I went our separate ways in 2014, I wish her all the best in life.
