    Ask and you shall receive. We filmed this quick this morning for everyone asking for a 0-60 of the 2021 Bronco 4 Door First Edition. There are a few raw fly-by clips after the 0-60 run. Jeep will be hurting with this new rig on the roads! Please let us know what else you want to see!

    Update for those wondering. We ran the 0-60 again yesterday with a Dragy unit. We ran the same 0-60 time.

    Did you use premium fuel? Curious if it does make a difference, ford tech specs indicated it does increase hp & torque

    Spool the dang turbos up. Just wait for tfl to do the 0-60 a f150 that weighs more does it in 5.9

      They just did a 0-60 in the four cylinder manual bronco, and got like 8.4 lol

      @@jacobeldredge803 see did better. I seen it was the 7 speed manual very hard to get a good 0-60. Just waiting for them to do the v6 0-60 and do a boosted launch

      @@Jv19979 tbh idk that it'll be that much of a difference. The v6 doesn't make THAT much more power than the four cylinder. I know when I get one, it's gonna be the four banger.

    My guess is that Ford used the 2 door base model with the biggest motor to run their 5.9 seconds. Not a 4 door First Edition with all the steel bash plates and bumpers with 35in wheels and tires.

      The 5.9 second time your referring to was for the Bronco SPORT. Not this full-sized Bronco

    Suspect. No way it starts that slow off the line with 4.7 gears and 400 lb ft of torque. Let's see someone else try.

      How much skill can there be in flooring an automatic? Yeah you can pre-spool the turbos a bit. Not going to make a huge difference though.

    Is there a number plate inside your first edition that shows what number you got? Or anything specific to FE?

      Nope. Just the same stamped plate as the rest. Ford said there would be a number plate, but that never materialized.

    Not super important for me but I can see needing some get up and go merging or passing. Thought maybe it would be a bit faster but its okay.

    2800 rpm brake boost and 4wd will cut that time down big time. Works like a miracle on the f150.

    I'm actually surprised it's not faster. I get that it's rolling on 35s but that's the 2.7L. P.S. love the Gran Turismo countdown!

      All the steel armor/bumpers also doesn’t help. It’s gonna feel faster than 8.1 I’m sure because of all that torque.

      @@motorhead_jt21 I think another reason is because the boost actually drops off in the upper rpms and it's actually losing power. The smaller turbos can't push enough air at the upper rpm range.

    What did people expect the car is heavy and makes only 310 horsepower they should have used the 3.5 V6 that was used in the Ford Taurus or the 5.0 V8 Coyote.

    Wait till 5 star, lund, pbd, and Oz tuning get a hold of them, these Broncos will be doing 4 sec 0-60 times on 35s

    Torque management causing major delay off the line, a good tune will see a 5.5 to 6 second 0 to 60.

      Good to hear. I will be getting a tune fairly soon after delivery. Glad the 2.7 has been around long enough for some good quality tunes to have been developed.

      @@UsnRoberts Different strokes for different folks. I enjoy a little more power out of my cars if I can and luckily the 2.7L is tuneable. Ford even has there own factory system. So is it okay if I buy a tune to make mine accelerate a bit quicker and be more responsive than yours? I will not complain if you dont....

      @@UsnRoberts yes it is hard to accept considering the exact same engine can be found on a crew cab f-150, which is heavier than the bronco, and it’s whopping 2 seconds faster than that 0-60.
      The 2.7 in the bronco is actually rated for 5hp and 10ft lbs higher than it is in the f150.
      So yeah, thats pretty damn hard to accept.

    I guess that is to be expected but I was hoping it would be better. Maybe in the 7sec range at least! I will be adding a couple of mods to mine to improve those times. One of my cars does it in 3.7 secs so need to get it down just a little so I can pull out of my neighborhood in front of cars going 70mph. Acceleration is a safety factor on its own.

      A tune can't fix weight issues that little 2.7 V6 is already pushing it's limits.

    Another under powered vehicle, Jeep answered this problem with a 392 finally. Got rid of a Raptor because of the sound and its turbo lag.

    Ughhh… the 2.3L MANUAL is just as fast according to TFL. And that was with Tommy granny shifting.

    First Edition doesn't get sport mode. 2dr black Diamond sasquatch in sport mode would be best test. Get best of both worlds. 🤟

    Something is wrong here. My F-150 2.7 does 0-60 in 5.7. Brake boost until it just crosses 2,500 rpm and let it go. Will be around 6.5 seconds (or faster) guaranteed even with the big tires.

    That was anemic, must be the 35's that are slowing it down. I am pretty sure that the 2 door OBX with 32's is going to be a good bit faster.
    My 2 door OBX is as light as I could have reasonably kept it. Mind you, if I was there to do a 0-60 run, it would be top off, and no doors... I do intend to add some weight to my OBX, but only when I need it to be off-roading.

    over engineered and overweight.
    waste of a powertrain with this set up. suspension and tires not made for acceleration runs so what's the point.
    this is an offroad vehicle for the general public who never go offroading.
    people that do will not buy a fully equipped bronco for over 60 grand.
    this cat n mouse game of manufacturer (supply) and consumer (demand) is laughable.

    Wtf it's not even that fast, a little disappointed..... glad to have seen this video before I spent 70k this december on this thing, I'll definitely go for the BMW x4 m40d!
