- In today's video, I'm sharing my review of Garden Simulator, a delightful game that lets you create and tend to your own digital garden.
Starting off as a burnt-out desk worker, I take over my great aunt Ellie's abandoned property and embark on a journey to restore it to its former glory.
While Garden Simulator can be a bit of a grind, the progression is satisfying, with timely unlockables that keep you engaged. Transform your mundane yard into a work of art with hedges, furniture, fences, garden gnomes, and more. Personally, I use this game as a virtual zen garden, finding solace in mowing the lawn and tending to my garden.
The game's portability makes it a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch. Whether you have a few minutes on-the-go or want an extended session, Garden Simulator offers a flexible gameplay experience. However, I noticed some performance issues on the Switch, particularly with grass popping in and out during mowing.
Garden Simulator's simplicity is its charm-mow the grass, plant your vegetables, and don't forget to pet the cat! It's a game that you can make your own, allowing you to wind down and find satisfaction in completing tasks. The game is releasing on May 10 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, as well as last-gen consoles.

It's a cool game. Played it for a few days. Its addictive trying to unlock new things. But after you unlock everything...and have $30k..it kinda slows down. And my game got laggy once I had a big garden all around the yard. AND my sprinkler system doesn't turn on it's like it glitches after leaving the game and coming back. You have to pick them up and place them down again and theyll work until you sace the game. But it was fun.

I can’t complete flower magician quest because when I do the “cultivate 20 flowers in pots “ it’s not counting the flowers anymore. It stopped at 11 and I’m stuck 😭
I think you have sold me on this game. Would you consider this game a cozy game? I love animal crossing and i'm trying to find something with a similar feel

Great review. How did you find all the text in terms of easy readability when it was on handheld? I struggle with reading the text on powerwash simulator via handheld.
Thanks! I'm pretty sensitive to small text, but the Garden Sim text size didn't bother me.
