Ive been Rumning Liqui Moly 5w-40 for over 3 years and love it! It helped keep oil temps down longer and top offs less frequent. This is driving in Az summer heat.
I've used 3 different brands on my highlander. Castrol, Valvoline, & Pennzoil. All are great, but pennzoil makes the engine sound the quietest. So i have pennzoil for my highlander while the rav4 has castrol.
All synthetics are made from gases, ( didn’t need to mention Airplanes) Moly and Amsoil are probably good but I wouldn’t buy oil because of its color, . Before changing oil , compare ingredients. And the most advertised oils aren’t necessarily the best. Aka Amsoil and Mobile One . The probability of Lucus oil going in any of my engines are definitely, NILL !
Wrong, the top three are Liqui Moly, Amsoil, and Motul. My two Independent mechanics (Volvo and Lexus) both recommended Liqui Moly in the correct viscosity for each vehicle. In fact, Liqui Moly developed a specific late-model Volvo full synthetic oil [Special Tec V 0W-20] for Volvos and other vehicles. My 2023 Lexus ES300h uses the Special Tec AA SAE 0W-16. Special Tec V 0W-20 "Fully synthetic superior, low friction motor oil. Developed specifically for use in various late-model Volvo vehicles and also suitable for use in several other manufacturer's vehicles. The low viscosity ensures excellent cold start behavior, improves engine efficiency, and reduces fuel consumption." Special Tec AA SAE 0W-16 "Fully synthetic premium class motor oil with extremely low viscosity, developed specifically to meet the high demands of modern Asian and American gasoline engines. Cutting-edge additive technology guarantees the best wear protection and engine cleanliness, the lowest oil and fuel consumption, and the highest engine efficiency. Penzoil ultra platinum is a great oil for my turbocharged car

AMSOIL for WIN as always.
I would say Amsoil and HPL are top oils. Mobil 1 and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum right up there.
liquid moly is better
Mobil 1 is not good oil in comparison. It barely meets OE standards
I run Amsoil Signature Series 0w20 on my 2024 Integra Type S. I only go with the best for my car.

I have a 2023 Acura TLX Type S. I use liqui moly molygen 5w-30. Change my oil at 60% oil life. However many miles it is…it is…I just change at 60%

no they are not Amsoil uses crud oil and liquid moli too.
Do any of these 3 oils come in 0W16 ?
I believe Amsoil does and it's the best
