Director’s Note: Full disclosure, I am both happy and unhappy with this film. The vast majority was shot way back in 2014 on my old Logitech C920 webcam (this was actually the film that was “cancelled” because it broke mid-way through shooting). So why finish it off two years later with a completely different camera, when I thought I’d moved on from this production? Well, in all honesty, I just felt like it was being wasted sat on the hard drive of a now obsolete computer. I have another motive too, but spoilers.
I feel the outcome of my endeavour to finish this off has left me with a badly paced, mildly entertaining romp that has no real resolution (What was the Parasite? Why did it attach itself to Jennings? WHY DIDN’T YOU ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS, 2014-ME?!) and very obviously has tone changes between 2014-me and 2016-me’s creative control. But hey! I’m my own biggest critic, and if you find even the smallest amount of entertainment value in this, I’ve done my job.
If you actually read this whole thing, you’re a nutcase.

You have one of the arguably best Doctors ever, one may say even better than the BBC. Love the sarcastic yet still lovable personality this guy brings to us. I hope you never stop making these as it would make the internet a less enjoyable place
Thank you so much, that means a lot. :) I do my best, I hope you enjoy what I have coming, because there's plenty more on the way.
This one is extremely dark.
... I like it.
As someone who doesn't watch Doctor Who regularly, I actually really liked this! Well done, Aaron!
Oh, I remember this! Good on you for finishing it! The two year difference between some of the animation wasn't really all that distracting, to be honest. I also really like the shot at 2:41 . Only criticism I have is that it ends pretty abruptly, but whatever.
Amazing job mate! Loved this story and that familiar line! Can't wait for the next adventure!
Really amazing. This was quite good, very well written and animated. We really look forward to more, especially Doctor Who/ Death's Head. Keep up the good work.
This is easily the most darkest lego doctor who series ever
A very good take on the Lazarus experiment episode! Nice.
That Lego Tardis intro is the dopest thing I've seen
Oh my god Aaron I completely missed this video. I went to your channel because I saw the DW and DH video came out, and boom here it was. This was freaking phenomenal dude, I loved it. Grabbed my attention and kept me interested from start to finish, and was accompanied by awesome animation, editing, and writing. Great job dude :)
This is my favourite out of all your Doctor Who videos!
this is REALY nicely animated
Very good, amazing LDW episode, can't wait to see more
I know you decry it as two-years-old, and there were a few pacing issues at the end, but overall this was really something to be proud of, and I hope you are. Great work, Aaron.
These vidios are great you're coming extreamly close to being a no.1 ideal.
Aaron! This us fantastic!
I see someone made a cameo appearance in this awesome new video
just. a masterpiece. good job!
Well done it’s brilliant
This is fantastic, I really enjoyed it! The animation is excellent and I wouldn't have noticed that this was mostly filmed 2 years ago if you hadn't said. I don't know if I've said this before, but I love your incarnation of the Doctor.
Thank you very much, I'm sure he loves you too.
This is actually quite a bit better than I remembered. But dark ending. So much blood.
This is really awesome!
I loved it plus...wait who are you ahhhhhhh
Damn this is good, An older doctor that acts like smith and tennant
how have i never noticed that this "doctor" is very violent and like the screem of the shalka
Wow. That was great!
Ok, animation major here. 1st thing. Thank you for actually animating this.. 2 points. Followed with a decent intro setup.. 2 more points. Title roles 1 point. Now to watch the rest and see if we can get a perfect score. I will be back at the end of the episode. ...Returned, your story kept me engage, albeit lacking just a few key pieces 1 point. But you know what, the characters, the animation you crafted was just strong enough. The build-up and a decent close I can honestly say that I wasn't really grading you. I just knew from the first 3 seconds, that I wanted to finish the episode. I just wanted to play with you for a bit. I am many things, an animator, financially know in records as The Doctor and finally, I just enjoy a good animation I know the creators loved to put together and honestly... That's all I wanted to say. Good job! I bet you can do so much better if your camera didn't break, but sometimes taking a pause in a project could work out for you so much better in the end for the future. I just subscribed and am looking forward to more material from you.
Love this, I'll be honest. Having somebody dive so deep into the entire process was very entertaining. If you enjoyed this, I'd recommend watching some of my later work! Specifically American Stagbunny, being my latest outing. University has definitely stalled my output but I'll be back. Cheers for watching!
Alrighty then, because that's just what I do, it's time to review this sucka!
I must say, for a two year old brickfilm, your animation quality still holds up remarkably well. It really wasn't all that distracting. If I can say one thing, for starters, this is a very well shot and very well lit film. The cinematography looks really nice as well as the animation itself. The voice acting was superb and everyone played their parts nicely. The only "gripes" I have with it, (if you could call them that) are just the lack of explanation for certain things (Like the relationship between Jennings and the Parasite.) and the very abrupt ending. Of course, you yourself acknowledged this, which I appreciate. But it can get a bit distracting when you start to think of it. Not a huge issue, considering this was started two years ago and never finished, but there nevertheless. And I just need to point this out but this episode was f*cking dark!! That's a change that I really DO like quite a lot. I really love the direction you're going with the Doctor and the whole 'reality is crumbling' arc. I can't wait to see where it goes next.
I give Lego Doctor Who: Parasite a 7.5/10
This is the best thing ever.
This is pretty good.
Amazing! you should have much more views on your videos! :D
And I thought you couldn't get better than the sentient coffee, yet you've done it!! This is such a well done brick film and this incarnation of the Doctor is perfect. I have one question; Will you be making more?
Thank you very much, I greatly appreciate it. While I can neither confirm nor deny that I am doing more... I am 100% certainly doing more.
Amazing!
i love this
Your service is no longer needed
"Reality is crumbling."
Really cool
6:59 That ain't blood that's cranberry juice, Right?
7:04 blender time!
"I'll kill you...
frffchefcfhrv crash !
I'm waiting."
That was excellent XD
Well this reminds me of Torchwood
AARON GOOD AS THE DOCTOR
Hey, unrelated question, do you have the emergency alert system in the U.K
We used to between 1953 and 1994, it was called the four minute warning because that was the approximate length of time that it would take from the point of detecting a Soviet missile to it reaching it's impact zone.
This was a weird question to have on my LEGO Doctor Who video, but pretty damn awesome, because I learnt something I previously wasn't aware of.
+Lisaisanut sorry for the odd comment I just heard the noise on the video and got curious
By the way your Doctor is really great. He is also quite dark, in the way he dealt with Jennings at least. Do you plan on making him regenerate, after a while, anyway?
Thank you for your praise, it's very much appreciated. I have a concrete plan set for his regeneration, I hope for it not to happen for a little while though, I'm enjoying him for the time being. :)
Ok, cool. Can't wait. Not that we aren't enjoying the current Doctor.
5:12 how did you make him blink
Quite good but, the ending... Doctor does not kills people, that easily.
I haven't seen a dalek episode yet
That was a conscious decision. Everybody does Daleks, I do not wish to fall into the trend unless I have a genuinely good idea for an episode with them.
Lisaisanut ok fair enough but good episode anyway to do with lazarus
So... is there a MewTwo in your box of weird things? I will get in if there is a MewTwo, just puttin that out there...
There is not a MewTwo, however, there is a rather large supply of Lickitungs.
Lisaisanut that's the best Pokèmon. The box of weird things is really nice, is it opened as a hotel?
Third doctor?
No, my own personal Doctor nicknamed "Red," but lot's of people do think he's Pertwee!
@@lisaisanut 🤣🤣 he looks like Pertwee
Dr who will get an lassie dog and it will be a female.
Guess I'm a nutcase :P
I've never been in a box of weird things before either...
You'll love it in there, trust me, there's an apple shaped like the Buddha and an undetonated nuclear warhead sponsored by Hello Kitty.
Lisaisanut cool
Wait is that real blood dear god couldnt u use fake blood
That is food colouring, sir.
stupid and funny...stupidly funny
Thank you?
This is awesome! I love your doctor. I'm uploading a lego doctor who video soon, It would be awesome if you could check it out!
Send it to me when it's released and I'll gladly check it out. :)
Thanks :) It should be released today or tomorrow.
