I love glads but when our order comes the glads are so tight they don't open during our church services. Any way to force them to bloom.?

I would suggest taking the glads out of the cooler on the Tuesday before the Sunday you need them. Letting them sit out in room temperature should help speed their blooming process. Placing them in a bucket of warmer water should also help get them to open.

Thank you. The only thing is they deliver to us on the same day we arrange them. But maybe we can work that out.

I watched another video and it says removing the tops remove where the growth hormone is allowing them to open up.

Of all the beautiful flowers there are, why would you use “thistle”? I love gladiolus, but those aren’t the prettiest I’ve seen. If you were selling that arrangement, I would want fuller glad’s.

I’m continuing on…..55 years ago in my bridal bouquet , I had gladiola’s (yellow) and beautiful yellow roses. They disassembled the glads and reconnected them back up in a beautiful bouquet, w/ a beautiful cream colored bow. Most likely not the style of today, but I thought it was full and beautiful and cascaded down. I have loved gladiolas ever since!

That's okay! We love thistle here at our shop! We think it's blue color looks beautiful in arrangements and we have fun using it! As far as the glads go, we sell our arrangements to the public and the glads won't stay as pretty for as long if they are already fully bloomed when we arrange. We put in a tighter bud so that the flower can bloom at home with the recipient; therefore, it lasts longer.

Yes, your bouquet sounds beautiful! Glads are a wonderful flower!

I love yellow flowers... but the wall of your background is not good at all. It's disturbing for viewers . Because we cannot see your flower arrangement clearly. Clear White or light green background will be good

We are working on getting a variety of backgrounds to use for our videos! Thank you for the input!
