Great job 👏. No meds to treat fatty liver so 3 step gameplan is great for reversing and optimal metabolic health.

If you can get patients to reject seed oils, that excludes so much of the processed carb rubbish that has become the mainstay of so many people's intake

The range for ALT goes to 40 as normal on my lab sheet. In doing personal research, 25 should be the normal. Because of so much illness the number range has changed over the years. This is so sad, if your ALT is over 25 you are still told you are normal. Do your own research, I had to practically beg my NP to give me options for more treatment after my ALT reached 57. I made my own changes in diet plus reading food labels. Our health care system is more about treating symptoms with pills not educating the patient. Take charge, no one else will.

I just saw a patient of Kaiser on another show say that it would not pay for his CPAP machine! Given how important good sleep is to metabolic health, this is a shocking policy. Of course, I don't know the facts of his situation, but he claims to have bought one himself and lost 80 lbs. If true, the medical system has a lot to learn.

But for plant-based diets, be aware of oxalate poisoning or oxalate overload number one contributor being spinach, various organs including kidney function can be damaged, sometimes seen while the damage is ongoing with cloudy urine, very important

Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences.
There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese.
What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications.
Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks.
Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods

I have chronic Lyme disease and since I went on to the Keto diet, I am doing much better. I do still have inflammation and joint pain, but much less severe. I am wondering if either one of you knows a remedy?

You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
Fast food and sugary drinks including fruit juices are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
Every city should be a bicycle city.
Speak up for bicycles in your community

Eliminate refined carbohydrates, seed oils, legumes and grains. Increase protein from animal sources and fermented dairy, don’t fear animal fat 💕
Aged cheese, fermented vegetables, low starch vegetables and fruit as dessert 😍
Animal foods made us the humans we are today. If someone is telling you to eliminate animal products please encourage further research ☺️
Our brains are high energy demanding organs and fat is the best energy for this, our guts are able to ferment but not at the rate of plant eating gorillas, you’ll see large fermentation gut and less energy demands in the brain.
      We are opportunistic omnivores

I eat almost nothing but meat and eggs. 9% body fat, all labs in check. Telling people to avoid meat, which is the most nutrient dense food that exist is preposterous.

@@hollisday1421 I couldn’t agree more! Raised vegetarian, was into plant based for awhile and took me getting so sick until I started to dig deeper then the headlines and it’s life changing!
60lbs down, reversed pre-diabetes/ pcos, depression gone, anxiety melted away and Chronic fatigue no more!
It’s not the meat, it’s the processed and refined foods and even just grains and legumes can be harmful!

All diets can be healthy following the 3 simple steps above (Keto, Carnivore, Vegetarian, Tradiotional, Omnivore, Paleo, etc) Key is to get Ultraprocessed foods filled with seed oils and sugars out of our diet.

      @napua5217 Před 5 měsíci +3

@@bavaz5006 the thing is, yes they can be healthy but with vegan and vegetarian if done wrong can lack proper nutrients over time that will need to be supplemented if not consumed
