Absolutely. Ed is a narcissist who will always blame her and psychologically abuse her. Narcissists are like that. Ed is destroying her fragile self esteem. Narcissists exploit nice people and demonize them. If she is smart, she will run far away and stay No Contact with Ed.
When Liz says things like: "I don't know of anyone else that would fight for him the way that I've fought," she needs to pause and reflect on WHY no one else is fighting to be with him or support him, including his own daughter. She needs a proper therapist to help her stop that train of thought and reflect before it derails into "why wasn't I enough?" to help her break this cycle for a chance of a real healthy relationship in the future. Coming from someone that had to learn that myself!

Liz suffers from childhood trauma and abandonment issues. Her parents abandoned her when she was a child, and she was raised by her grandparents and her last husband who physically abused her. She has a picture of her eyes bruised and she said that she fought for Ed not because he was worth fighting because she was looking for the love that she did not get in her childhood, so she is trying to prove it to him. She deserves his love because she did the impossible for him. Look at Rose because her parents are with her and her father is keen on her and cares about her. She did not stay with Ed despite the difficult circumstances of her life.

@@samsongomah1318 This. I sympathize with a life of trauma but once you bring a kid into this world, it stops being about you and starts being about them. In her desire to make Ed feel loved and gain that love herself, she has made it so her daughter is ALSO missing parental love. Her daughter is also not being put first, same as she wasn't put first. Therapy would've been a lot faster and cheaper than Ed. Always remember, NO ONE can heal your wounds. If you think someone else did, you're still selling yourself short because all they did was show you the potential you already had.

He finally did some simple math and realized that being a nobody in Arkansas with a realtor job and real responsibilities pales in comparison to being infamous and responsibility free in San Diego. I hope the next time Small Ed tries to hit up TLC for another spin off, they professionally tell him to kick rocks and he fades into pathetic irrelevancy.

I am hoping that the 90 day franchise finally gets rid of no neck ed..unsure why they kept him around as long as they did... when no neck first appeared it was 90 day fiance the other way... when he and rose broke up and he tried to get with another woman from another country and when that didnt work out his part in the show should have ended.. unsure how they let him stay on this show being with an american woman with multiple break ups etc... when this show was clearly based on finding love outside of the united states...I just know he wasnt that good for tv that they let him continue being on this show..

Hunny, I was in an exact same relationship for 2yrs, no money at all was involved!! She gained a lot of weight too because of this being a toxic trauma bond relationship. He loves to degrade them, commenting about her crooked teeth on the very first tell all. By cutting into her self esteem, she feels she's nothing and if Ed doesnt want her, so who will?? This isn't fake, my ex broke up with me 47times in 2yrs, I broke my pelvis, when I got out of the hospital he was gone. This is very real and I pray she stays away from him or anyone like him.
Mines a bit more messed up cause my mom has always treated me this way and I then repeated it in my early 20s dating. It's real and incredibly depressing. . I've been sober now for 10yrs, never again, I won't do this to myself again.

And if you want stable, lasting love, you've got to be willing to see the sides of yourself that may not be very good. You've got to be willing to want to be better for yourself and for those around you. 'I just want someone to completely accept me for who I am!' is a child's fairy tale way of looking at relationships. The REAL answer is saying to yourself, 'I want to become someone that people will love despite my flaws because I recognize them and work hard to be better everyday so that who I was ten years ago is not who I am today.'
