I'd buy that for a dollar! I love this so much. It hits my sense of nostalgia like a ton of bricks and looks fantastic. I'm going to have to do one myself now.
I've been mulling over my Robocop action figure for a while now, and what I can do to make him a cool display piece instead of a crappy toy collecting dust in my Detolf. (I saw it at the op-shop and when I saw the price, well Bixby knows what I said next)
He's from (I think) movie 2 since his armour is blue, and his right hand is missing, but I'm confident I can fix up both these things easily. I'm likely going to need my Dremel since the pose is "1st-gen Star Wars Kenner" and I need something a bit more lively.
I'm a big fan of allowing limitations to drive creativity, so I love the simplicity of your piece - awesome work!
It could not be more 80's with the exception of a flashing neon sign. Love this piece ;-)
I was just thinking street light led would make this pop so much 😂
This turned out really nice. I'd love to see what you would do with Alien or Aliens.
Seconded
Oh that's a great movie to do this with
Thirded!
Xenomorph in one window, Ripley in the other
4th!
Its a cool piece, fun to use old VHS tapes for this. what could have made it even better is a small industrial wall lamp beside the steal door. that would have given it extra dept and there is plenty of room in the tape to hide the battery
I fully expected a light source to be built into the piece too.
Proof that size isn't really a limitation if you get creative enough. I love these kind of projects, it turned out amazing!
What an awesome collection!
I had no idea that is how VCRs grabbed a tape and pulled it onto the heads for us to watch. *That* was fascinating. Thank you for sharing that snippet with us.
"Dead or alive, you're coming with me." 👍😎👍
Stupendous build idea and execution. I love it.
I look forward to more of these kinds of builds from you. 🎉
Be Excellent and Party on. 🤘🎸😎
VCRs are absolutely incredible machines.
@@BlackMagicCraftOfficial 💙 Yes they are. 😎
Alec from @TechnologyConnections made a video (or couple) about VHS.
@@MoonWolf_RPGI love his stuff. :)
Awesome idea! Reminds me a bit of book nooks near a fitting book series. Love mini diorama's!
1. That intro was fantastic. 2. This IDEA is fantastic. 3. I need to really think about what movie to do this with.
Great job. I really like mini-dioramas set in some real life object you've done.
Love this idea and you nailed the execution. Any chance of hobby and movie room tours in the future?
Yes! Behind the scenes!
This is a fun project for the extra VHS movies in your collection. I love the music in the background. It really give an 80's feel to the video.
Turned out so cool, I was like "in a vhs?" what can you do? but damn it really set the scene and looks beyond amazing
Anyone who is a fan of the original RoboCop movie should check out the new RoboCop video game. They absolutely nailed the visuals, shooting, and ultra violence of the first two movies.
Thanks for the recommendation :)
I'm not even 30% through the video and already excited about the finished product...keep being Awesome....
"Or there will be trouble"
This was a really clever idea. Turned out great.
About the best use of a VHS cassette I have seen in a while.
He did a Hellraiser VHS diorama on this channel earlier. Hoping there will be more to come!
As a VHS nerd too this is one of my favorite videos of yours!
He’s done at least one more VHS one - a Hellraiser VHS! :)
This is a really awesome concept, and fantastic execution. Well done.
This is great and has so much potential for future projects…. And given as gifts 🎁… Santa, Grinch, Rudolf…. etc
It looks awesome! I really enjoy watching your diorama videos(all your videos are amazing I just really love how dioramas tell a story)
This turned out so cool!! You really captured the vibe in such a tiny space! Love it displayed sliding out of the case too!
This is super cool! Would love to see more like it!
So more of this! This is so dope!
That is so awesome! Great film & character and wonderful diorama scene!
just an amazing stuff! Idea and making... WOW, simple WOW
So COOL! I hope you keep doing these, as they're super creative and inspirational, and I can't wait to see what movie you do next!!
Aw man ever since I saw a craft like this last year, I’ve wanted to do one myself. These are so cool!
That's very cool, I love these mini dioramas you've been doing lately.
loves these builds, such a cool Idea
Such an awesome project!!! ❤😊❤
Great idea and great work 🔥
That came out freaking awesome! 🤘🏽❤️🔥
Your hellraiser VHS diorama is the reason I started watching your videos - love these!
Glad you like them!
That turned out amazing!
Not many of these I can think of doing this for. At least not off the top of my head
Dune, Judge Dread and Jurassic Park where the three that came to mind.
"Something with Zombies?" and "Oh that one with the Chewing Gum line" AKA 'They Live' also came to mind and might work.
And to be honest. Now I'm trying to remember the name of the Animaniacs episode where they where in a video store after closing. The one where they replicating an older Warner Brothers short set in a book store, but gave it the 90's update by changing books to VHS tapes... TO THE GOOGLE!!!
So cool! Just watched the first two movies yesterday, this matches perfectly! :)
Freaking awesome and super creative!
I just love dioramas, love it.
this is stupid fabulous. I really must get on with trying out something similar. Great inspiration xxx
This was AWESOME to watch. One of my favourite movies. Hope you do more movies in the future.
THIS IS AWESOME
Very, very cool. Wasn't convinced until the end, great job!
This was so cool
Love it!
If you did a second one of these you could put Clarence on the other side so the windows are more dynamic.
This is awesome as is your video collection and that Street Trash poster is great.
So good!
This was just so dang cool!
Ah! VHS tapes. Man I had a pretty interesting collection but then I had cut them out when I moved. I sold one big box one for a really decent price but this was before most of them was collectable. Most of them I donated to the library because back in 2016 there were STILL people who checked out VHS tapes from the library. Ah well. Hopefully most of them went to the book sale where people could get them for cheap.
Dude! that looks awesome!
Do more of these!!!
I was gonna say 'I'd buy that for a dollar!' but someone already beat me to it...
these are great!
Amazing work 💯
I'm in the middle of making a custom Clarence bonniger figure to go with my NECA RoboCop figure and eventually I'm going to be making all of the bad guys from the original movie including Louis
Last 3 seconds were pure gold
Very very cool!
So cool! I need to make something like this
Bravo I love it man
That is beautiful.
Sweet creation
Awesome!
Love it one of my all time favourite movies
Great one again! Your outro made me laugh so hard!
Great thinking!. Now where did I put my "CopKiller" VHS. Yes, that one starring, Johnny Rotten (John Lydon) and Harvey Keitel. 😊
Some people do book nooks. Jeremy is like, hey that is old OLD school, were's just old school here, let's do VHS nooks!
Absolutely iconic. :)
Really cool.
Hmm. If you use the plastic cases of the VHS Tapes you can build a complete scene. 😊
Great idea and work, anyway❤❤❤❤
Now I am wanting to see one for the movie Halloween & also one for “IT” I think they would be very cool
Love it...
looking great
Holy crap this is next level work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Jurassic Park immediately jumped into my brain but hold on a blue resin jaws scene
You are so creative and talented. I'm jealous lol.
That is SO FRICKIN COOL!
I really liked it. I thought it would be cool if you put the villain in the other window.
Jeremy out her inspiring the masses again! Dangit I have to come up with one for the wife for Christmas. Trouble being, she is "My Little Pony" to my "GI Joe". I need to find the right title. Although she did introduce me to "Flight of Dragons" and I had never seen that growing up...
Interesting concept i like it. What rust paint do you use and where do you get it?
I think one bit that wiuld have been cool is if there was like a street light or a light on the wall to help illuminate the scene. But still awesome build
Flippen awesome, do a gremlins or star wars one!
wicked cool
Haha .. what an end :-D Very cool idea.
Cool idea, but I almost prefer a diorama out of the old, clamshell cases. You get more volume to design and the whole project takes up a tiny bit more space. As a plus, no damage to the VHS tape.
However, I don’t want to sound negative as I constantly look forward to your videos! You continue to impress and inspire my own work.
Awesomeness
Religuias 👏❤
you should do the bad guy in the other window
Starship troopers next? 🥺Please
I'd buy that for a dollar!
that last line lol😂
WOW this is amazing! Would have been perfect if the tape would also worked he he he
That was groovy
You win! Did you print a bunch of tiny OREOs for ROBO?
i see vhs, i like
Hey brother! Here in the states we have this “Ramboard” $35usd and it’s 36inches by 50 feet of chipboard you could use for projects if y’all have something similar up there
some cotton wool in the ton, some color on it, and a flickering LED under it ... ;)
Oh lord. That might have been worth money in a few years. Ouch, like bedazzling an original black lotus.
lol tell me you don’t know anything about vhs collecting without telling me you don’t know anything about vhs collecting….
Even if it would one day be a valuable tape (it won’t be) the way I did this makes it completely reversible back to its original state.
Neat, I used to be all about Robocop when I was very young...... I don't think it was for kids though.
Hi, I was wondering, you mentioned you used polyurethane as primer…is that the same you get at Home Depot? I usually use it on wood.
I've wanted to do this
Should get a pattern on you!
