Why didnt you guys show the necron part of the diorama in the grand reveal?
Now you gotta do a titan diorama.
@@SquidmarMiniatures could anyone afford that masterpiece ? đ
Wow! Wow! Wow! A little sad that we will never see that Manta fly in the sky. This is however an absolute piece of art! Congratulations!
one can only imagine how stunningly beautiful it'd be in white, with LEDs and patreon name runes
Did you guys ever finish the Manta Nick was working on?
@@blakechilders2186 yep! We put out a video months ago. Not nearly as impressive as this. But weve started playing some games with it.
@@PlayOnTabletop â I think Nick did an equally brilliant job. We get to see one brand new Manta fly and one old wreck of a Manta that never got to fly.
Nick must be happy to see that even in ruin the T'au are an impressive sight to behold.
That diorama deserves an award. It looks incredible. Amazing effort guys.
Fantastic job and what a journey! It would be super cool if you guys could to a video debriefing your experience from start to finish. I'm sure after 650 hours you've learned a TON and it would be neat to know some of the things you loved about the process, some of what you might have done differently, etc. As a beginner in the hobby I'm always looking to learn from the pros and no doubt you lads have some super helpful insight. Keep on being awesome!
Don't normally comment on youtube videos, but I must here. Been following this from the start Emil and you and the crew have done an utterly outstanding job. A true inspiration to this community and all miniature communities. Learnt some great techniques from this and compositionally can I just say WOW! Epic work guys, keep it up!
What a honour it's been to watch you guys build this most fantastically beautiful diorama well done guys!
Right?! The thing is beautiful.
and its plural... cant stand the title
Oooooohhhh... I think I'm in love. I can't even descibe how amazing this diorama is.
Yesâ€đ„°
Man the diorama looks so good! The Manta is so large it still manages to make the rest of the terrain feel small.
Wow man this is insane. I can't believe it's done after all this time. I'm blown away. Emil and Lucas. You two are the gods of dioramas and people should whisper your names when talking about you. Bravo đ
The Diorama ist really great, could you guys make a video just showcasing? Because you could fill 15 min easily
It was so exciting hearing about the project in the first place, it turned out so much better than I expected despite going in with rly high expectations! Such an amazing accomplishment!
We definitely need a full showcase video!
After 3 very long days with covid this video was exactly what I needed. I've enjoyed every video since the start. Everyone who worked on this diorama is insanely skilled. Beautiful vision, it's far better than what I pictured in my head. Thank you for this masterpiece! đ
Now what museum shall it be kept in?
Wooooo. That's aboslutely amazing. It's been a great journey to follow you painting this crazy beautiful diorama during the last 14 months. It's incredible.
To me, this stands alongside Astartes as one of the best fan-projects in all of Warhammer 40k. What a masterpiece
You should get it displayed at Warhammer World. Just so people can witness this incredible diorama in the flesh!
Have loved following this project. The final results do not disappoint!
Truly incredible model making!!!
This should be on display at Warhammer World. Absolutely amazing work. Art of the highest order.
Donât normally comment on things but Iâve been watching this diorama be built up from the beginning. All I can say isâŠ. Thank you for the countless hours youâve dedicated to this series and the enormous effort youâve put into each video. What a satisfying conclusionđ
You put in over a year of work. Nearly 800 hours of effort into a single project. The amount of effort you put into this is all inspiring and the results speak for themselves. It's magnificent, a gorgeous diorama that tells a story.
Lukas sometimes looks more like Harry Potter than Harry Potter himself.
I watched the complete series and some other videos of you guys and you are true artists. Hats off to that!
Congrats !
Obligatory commentary on that spider joke, coming out of nowhere, was great ! :D
been enjoying the journey so far.
one thought... for a tree to grow through the wing, it would have had to have been crashed for centuries. the lone survivor would be long dead by that point.
It's been an absolute blast watching this evolve and take shape from start to finish with you guys. You all did an amazing job, it looks STUNNING! The story and vibe you get out watching it is just Amazingđ„đ„
This deserves to be spotlighted on Warhammer Community
Amazing.... My heart bled the moment you bored a hole in the Manta đ±đ
Okay, this has to be put in some kind of museum for everyone to see this masterpiece up close. Amazing work guys.
Bitter sweet moment to see this project come to an end, been an unbelievable video series to follow and the result is incredible!
Honestly stumbling upon the first video in this series and more broadly your channel has reignited my love of modelling. Made me search my folks attic to get all my old modelling stuff. After a 16 year hiatus, I'm getting back to it as a new way to unwind. Thank you Squidmar team for being the inspiration!
Now all I can say is I would love to see another mega project like this PLEASE + maybe even a reflection video on this project to talk about the process, its challenges, what you would have done differently and what it might inspire for you to want to do for another or potential ideas etc.
Truely a work of art worthy of display in a gallery breath taking
7:36 that transition was hilarious.
Man that was just such a cool series to watch. Thank you for giving us such a great watchtime. Amazing work
Absolutely incredible. I can't offer enough praise for just how cool this is. Thank you folks so much!
đđ
You can definitely tell they put the full 69,420 hours of work into this.
Congratulations guys, it looks amazing!
*days đ€Ł
Honestly, after all this time... We need a full video that pours over and highlights every single thing that went into this build and culminates the tiniest aspects to the most end-game nuances of the build. As is most unfortunate for most of us, we can't examine and pour over every detail of this piece and truly appreciate the hour-by-hour attention to detail paid to each aspect of the whole. While we may appreciate the culmination of the whole, we need a gushing-over from the fan perspective, who would gush over each detail and examine everything.
Genuinely so well-composed and balanced and interesting. You could have gotten as many views with something way less involved. I respect the effort!
It's absolutely increidble. The Tree through the wing looks a bit odd though. A tree wouldn't just grow through metal like that, unless the hole already existed, in which case it's too perfect a size. Also, it'd take decades for a tree like that to grow. I know it's incredibly nitpicky, just.. since everything else seems entirely perfect to me, it feels out of place.
Have to agree, the Tau survivor would have long passed by the time that tree popped up...
But wait! It's actually a fast growing-xeno-heritcal tree, so now it makes sense.
yea, this was an absolute masterclass, and then they got to the tree, and i just feels weird, there is also the way that the shrapnel around the tree looks, i expected them to hide that they were add-on pieces by blending them into the hull, but they did not, they left the hard lines on the hull, so it does not blend at all. i kept expecting that to get fixed. its obviously nit-picky but with something like this its kinda expected since this is overall just an amazing piece of art, that feels letdown by those, in my opinion, mistakes.
To be honest all the vegetation around and in the manta makes no sense, this is what you'd expect to find maybe a century later, the waterfall though is my largest problem, there's clearly no way water can be flowing through the manta from a river, so how is it still dumping water, at the closest it could collect rain water water, but then it'd act like gutters, not a waterfall
you would be surprized how plants have a knack for growing through just about anything. ok maybe not steel but certainly through asphalt
You gotta brush up on your 40K my guy haha, trees can most definitely spring out of the ground like that.
All good things come to an end. So happy to be with you all on this journey! Such an absolutely incredible piece. Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous... Just gorgeous. So many fantastic ideas to take from this.
Absolutely brilliant work guys! Question, I had thought there was a Necron bit too, did I miss a vid where that was taken out?
It's still in the back
Yeah I thought I was crazy that was missing in the final show off as well
Amazing diorama but I fear my purse will cry and hide in the deepest part of a very dark corner for the rest of my life XD.
Yeah insanely good work and nothing more to add because I'm lost for words.
I'm in complete awe, it is absolutely bamazing what you did with this project, I've been following the series from the start and am so happy seeing it come to this very GRAND reveal!!
An absolute work of art! Incredible job to the whole Squidmar team! I really hope this gets set up in a public setting for as many as possible to see. Truly inspirational. Every time I look at this I see something new I didn't see before.
It's a very cool piece! Love the broken wing and the contrast of aesthetic between the ruin and the creatures making a life around it. Probably took you guys a shit ton of work to do.
It's because its at that level of good though that i wish there was some better details to tie it all together. I have no sense of the weight of this ship, there doesn't seem to really be any sign of how this massive thing impacted the land around it when it fell (likewise no scratching or denting of the ship where it made contact.) How did a tree grow through it where there's no way for light to reach under that wing and grow plants? Where's the water for that water-fall coming from if it can sustain an ecosystem?
Just some nitpicks for an already good piece
Bruh. Like you could do better
Oh sorry "critique police" for pointing out that something can be reasonably better with minimal extra effort.
halleluja
You bought a Tau Manta to break it, cut it and drill it?
Man... I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do things like that...
Excellent job, Emil and Harry!
Wow! GRATTIS! This is quite an accomplissement and just amazing how it turned out in the end! I concur with other commenters that this belongs in a museum. A true labor of love.
Definitely award winning, the vision and tenacity!
This is unbelievably beautiful! The details are stunning and the overall effect is fantastic. I can only imagine being able to see it close up. I could probably lose myself for a few hours discovering all the amazing little touches that make this such a work of art. Congratulations on finishing!
So incredible. I've loved watching every step of this process.
You, people, are great masters of modelism! This is sooooo awesome. Thank you for your patience and your hard work!
What an amazing job. What a great ride. But there is one thing left.
The premise of this series was to prove that it's wrong to play WITH the Manta, but rather one should play ON the Manta.
So please one more video. The Manta deserves it.
That is beyond beautiful. Amazing work!
Thatâs just a thing of beauty. Itâs been fun watching your progress on this. I canât currently imagine doing a project this huge. So much creativity in the story as well. Well done team!
so glad to have watched this amazing journey, the final product brings tears to my eyes
Congratulations! You are true professionals, master artists, and a class act. I have been invested in this project from the beginning and cannot express how well I think you have done with it.
Not only it looks awesome, but seeing all the hard work you guys put into this diorama, all the attention to every single tiny detail, all the time you invested... This is marvelous, guys. Great job!
So awesome, love how you used the frame as part of the whole thing and being able to take parts off the ship
Congrats guys!! Looks amazing!
This is amazing! So much detail without looking busy, really got the balance right
this was an awesome journey ! thanks you so much for sharing this experience
Gotta say, I am blown away with this diorama. I have watched it all from the beginning and it is beyond awesome.
Just incredible what you haVe achieved! Absolutely stunning work!
Congratulations on an incredible achievement, completing your Tau Manta diorama!!! I feel incredibly grateful to have been included in watching you complete this whole thing from start to finish.
The first video of yours I ever saw was the beach themed AoS basing one and to see the techniques used again here was really cool, a nostalgia trip and testament to how far you have come!
Congratulations !!! What an amazing result
Been stoked about this from the first minute of the first episode. Glad to have the seriies to rewatch for the future. What an amazing and unique piece of work!
It looks so alive! Like it's actually a terrarium! Probably all the twigs, coconut fiber, and grass tufts.
Looks outstanding. Probably the best use of a manta I've seen.
This is absolutely stunning!!
It has been a blast following this series and watching this diorama evolve.
Now finally seeing it in all of its glory is something special!
Unreal seeing this series finally coming to an end. What a great result! Absolutely fantastic!
Congratulations! Such an amazing piece of work.
What an epic project, thank you guys for putting this out there and seeing it all the way to completion
Incredible ! Congratz !
An ultramarines vs chaos diorama would be cool for the next project
Wow Iâm glad that this series has finally come to an end⊠Emil wonderful job
I've been watching this Diorama series since the very first episode and Kudos, it's utterly fantastic and basically 100% accurate to your initial vision.
I hope this piece ends up in Warhammer World or something because it's an absolute masterpiece
The level of detail and planning is insane! This is imagineer quality!
Incredible! I'm well sad that this ends now, but what a journey! Can't wait for the next huge project, if you're not burnt out by now! All the best! Flo
Congrats guys!!! This absolute is a true work of art. Absolutely beautiful... A masterful work. đ
I would love a solid 5 minute video of just different shots of the Manta. I enjoyed the reveal at the end, but I want way more.
Wow, absolutely stunning!!
Congratulations on the finished project. This is absolutely astounding.
The waterfall adds so much!
I love that you madmen actually went ahead with that and all the other damage to Manta. Such a great diorama and thank you for letting us enjoy the process over all those videos as well.
Lovely editing on the final reveal showcase. It's been amazing to watch you guys put this incredible diorama together over this series. Congratulations on finishing!
