I think that's April's aunt đ€·đŒââïž. I believe that's what a few ppl have mentioned, but don't take my word for it. If we're getting any old lady, absolutely it should be that one with the glasses and the hat and the clichĂ© old lady outfit from episode 1 like Jonathan mentioned. I think that's the same granny from the Real Ghostbusters đ€. So we can always use that original toy of her as a fill-in in the meantime.

Why does this look so much better than the initial promotional photos? The neck length issue is a total non-issue in your review and posed photos. This looks great! Now I'm going to have to hound Targets and/or get up early or take time off work for the online sale. This is a fun looking April. A must-have, and I don't even collect TMNT. Don't hate me. I'm almost certain that neck was extended to keep the collar and hair from clipping into each other. Otherwise she would have no head rotation with that collar up like that.

Her neck doesn't look AS LONG IF you take a black pen and draw in her clavicle area. Oh and the Hatter DOES have April 1.0. He DID yank off her bobble head and replace it with one from 100th April 2.0! And YES April 1.0 is now PERFECT.

Her neck is still a bit long for my taste, just trim it down a little bit and we could have got a perfect April. However the biggest crime when it comes to these NECA TMNT cartoon figures is that they are exclusive to Target only! How are people outside of US supposed to get these guys without getting scalped on secondary market?

The plant she has as an accessory I believe is the Doku Plant given to her by The Shredder. April smells it, puts her in short coma and nearly dies. The turtles saved her with an antidote. Great episode!đą

That shine happens on a lot of figures and I use Mr Super Clear spray matt to get rid of that glossiness. I discovered it when people were getting that glossy finish on their "2nd" run Tokka and Rahzar figures they were using it to dull them down

But, what about quality control? Neca use to break all the time back in the Gears of War days, and the more recent Turtles Rock dudes or the Dino dudes, they break. Has Neca finally decided to make toys instead of breakable posable statues for 50 year olds?
All adult collectibles break from every brand. But to answer your question, newer stuff breaks less often than stuff like Bebop and Rocksteady

However there are some really solid ass figures out there, Mattel is great, Hasbro has good figures but lately I heard gummy plastic joints on some of the Marvel Legends and smaller pegs in the shoulders which will bend and tear off. I just like my toys with thick joints (and the females with thick breasts, hips and butt but that's going a bit offtopic). I'm just allergic to clear plastic joints (DC Direct Arkham first waves) and paper thin joints, 55 points of articulation etc.
