    Regarding you issue with lawn water, you should look into a cistern. You could capture a ton of water off you garage. Then pump in with a 1/2 HP transfer pump. I do this in the Northeast. I have a 1,100 gallon cistern, and 3 stock tanks totaling 1,500 galloons for water collection. During dry spells, I never ran out of water for my gardens, bushes, flowers, or lawn. I bought everything at Tractor Supply. I put mosquito dunks in the open stock tanks to keep the skeeters at bay.

      I really like my Husqvarna, very comfortable and easy to operate. The fabricated deck works great. I would recommend getting one that has the kawasaki engine. The smart choke on the Koler and Briggs don't work very well. This is just my experience with them though. Thanks for checking out the video. Take care ✌

    Thanks for taking the time to produce this video Kyle! Have you thought of making a long term review of the mower?

      Yeah I was thinking about doing a spring maintenance video oil change sharping blades and a year review all in one video. I hope to have it out in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for checking out this video. Take care and all the best Joe.

    Hey Kyle I like the mower that Kawasaki engine will last forever. Got two used 1987 JD 165 hydro riders with Kawasaki engines and both just keep running so if one goes down I will have parts for the other. Really like the deck on your husky looks heavy duty. Thanks for sharing.

      👋 Mitch, yeah those kawasaki engine sure are nice seem to run forever. The fabricated deck on these mowers are built very well. Cuts real good too. 👍 Hope you have a great week. ✌

    Hey Kyle, good video bro! I almost got a Husky here locally last Spring but the only one my dealer had didn't have the hours meter and cost a lot more than the Cub Cadet I ended up getting. I sure do like yours though!!

      Thanks David, I really like this mower. Husky raised their prices last spring about $500 per unit but I got a good deal on this one because it was the last one and last years model. Plus it was orange. Gotta have everything match. Lol. 🤣. Have a great weekend bud.

      @@6DOutdoors Was looking at this mower last year at 3200 bucks but didn't pull the trigger.
      I was at my local Lowe's and they had this one, date code 2/9/22, but at last years price ($3199). Went to my local Husqvarna dealer because I like to support local business over big box stores, they told me this years price is $3599 but they can't get one. Went back to lowe's and they honored the $3199 price AND I got free delivery, woo hoo!

      @@markiskool Yeah, it's crazy how much things of gone up in price. Sounds like you got a good deal 😉. Congrats on the new mower. I think you will really like this mower I know I do. Thanks for commenting and watching. Take care and all the best 👋

    I personally like the hand level forward and reverse speed control on my current LTG2654 mower. I understand yeah keep hand on steering wheel but all that foot moving is tiresome. Another thing I dislike about Husqvarna riders is the gas tank location. my mower sits in elements all year this cause the tank to crack in sun light. They are super hard to replace causing you to take whole chassis off. My solution i have a heavy rubber mat screwed to chassis now that drapes down in rear and protects the gas tank from sun. my deck has finally rusting apart looking for new and this is best I have seen but I'm just not liking it.

    Hey buddy just curious I just purchased a TS 248XD it has an arrived yet and I thought that it had only two blades are you sure it has three because if so that would be a bonus!

      Good evening. Congrats on your new mower. The TS248XDs have 3 shorter blades. Not sure on the length of them, guessing 16 inches. Sure seems to do an awesome job. Used it all summer with out an issue. Have a great week. Take care and all the best.

    Do you wash underneath the deck after each mow ?

    • @6DOutdoors
      @6DOutdoors  Před 2 měsíci

      I do not wash under the deck. I heard it will rust it quicker. I just scrape it off a couple times a year.

    So cool! But I'm in Ohio, grass is growing like crazy. Will this mower cut it, excuse the pun?

    • @6DOutdoors
      @6DOutdoors  Před 2 lety

      It`s a 48 inch fabricated deck with 3 blades. My lawn is fairly thick and it cuts it very well. Hard to say if it will do well on your lawn but I know it has plenty of power to go through some taller thicker grass. Good luck, hope this helps. Take care ✌
