As someone that grew up in Italy I can tell you that the 16 inch pizza is a regular/normal sized pizza and the slices are generally that big.
Hahaha I used to work in Subway and the 3 foot subs sold really well actually! For parties and such. The bread is braided together to make it that way...takes a minute to learn how to do that lol The cookies were always a hot item. School kids would come in on their lunch hour to get them.
I need to experience the big one haha !

Yes Ginormous portions with food criminally loaded with chemicals and additives , that isn’t going actually add value to anyone’s life then yes the US cousins are pioneers. Yes average fare is mild to bland but there is flavour to be found in the form of roasts /bakes or pies /cornish pastry and yes the multicultural aspect adds icing also generally quality and food standards are stringent and consistent you get for what you pay which is food and not engineered rubbish. Hope this clarifies any notions 😉 and yes each to his own. 🤷🏻♀️ Cheers x

The first time i visited germany i got a gaurter pounder with cheese well in the US we are used to mayo. I bit into the burger and almost died it was the first time i ever had curry sauce and back then i really didnt spicy. No pretty much everything has to have something spicy with it, and I catch myself craving that german qauter pounder every now and then, and that was almost 20 yrs ago... omg... it feels like yesterday i was there in march of 2003 til june of 2005. My bucket list consists of coming to the UK, Scotland, and Ireland. Richards my family and I luv u so much u are hilarious.

Favorite drink is a grande cold brew 🥰 it’s absolutely ridiculous the portion sizes in the US. Plus all the additives and chemicals put in it that are banned in other countries. It would be interesting to see if the UK versions/ingredients were “healthier” than the US counterparts

Gotta go for the Trenta iced drinks, I’m not a hot coffee girl, but I do like hot tea.
I dunno 32 oz of HOT coffee daily. I do not do cold or iced coffee. For me, ice is for tea, which I drink sweet as I'm from the south. Although, I've noticed since McDonald's starting carrying sweet tea, I can get it now in far more locations than just the south. I do not tea occasionally but never ever ever with milk. I don't comprehend that but to each their own...I don't knock it, either.

The uk used to have a macdonalds "mega" mac too , it was 2 bigmacs but with just the regular buns
2 of the most common fast food places like BK and maccas. Their worker(s) on fry duty are always high school students (15+). So their inability to scoop up some fries consistently aint a shock.

I worked in a small town and maybe things changed since I was like 16, but I remember selling cookies in 3 packs all the time (I live in the US). People often get three cookies because it was supposed to be promoted as a “good deal price wise” instead getting one or two cookies. We did dozens still, but I remember the three cookies being a thing for us to. We did have people ask for a lot more though lul. Had a lady get upset because I didn’t have the right kind of cookies for her 32 cookies order (which is late at night which everything was turned off) and demanded somehow I fixed it over the phone. Literally was saying “I WANT MY COOKIES I ORDER FOR”. I ended up refunding her because I was a teen and didn’t know what to do lul.
In Spain and other countries you have unlimited drink refills in Burger King

Gotta say. Because you use mills like we do here in aus, we go by our measurements. They go by ounces and I really think that has a lot to do with the size differences. Also with the small to medium or large fries. Try the drinks! You’ll find something very similar. Were they just add a little extra ice per cup and the SAME liquid! At least here in aus! I’ve tested it many times! Large will get you about 20ml more from a small, and 10ml from medium. But hardly worth the price. You’re better always buying a small and doubling it if you really want a LARGE portion size!
And the Starbucks are just ounces. No mills. That’s why they are the same.

I live in the US and was surprised by some things. The 36 cookies at Subway is with a "party order" where you order ahead for work meetings ect. You can't walk up to one and ask for this. Plus Starbucks has a larger carton of coffee again, for meetings or gatherings. I don't know the size. America has a weight problem. Seeing this video let's you know why.
The crazy thing about the KFC buckets here in the US is that if you finish eating the entire bucket of chicken in the restaurant within an hour from when you bought it then you can get it refilled with more chicken for free

I will happily drink 30 oz of coffee, just not iced/cold coffee. Coffee must be hot, no milk or sugar, and I will chug that coffee like it's water and then get a second. Why? Because I'm obviously a psychopath that is fueled solely on caffeine, dark humor and a dash of spite.

And, sadly, if my fiancée is not there to supervise me, I could probably down those 12 Subway cookies in one sitting. I have very low impulse control when it comes to sugar... And I'm not even that overweight. Lol
