One of the easiest tutorials I have seen. I am hoping I can so this. Looking for easy protective styles to give my hair a break through out the week. I know how to flat twist. I'm not perfect but after redoing the twist a few times it looks neat. Wanted the same look with braids. I love the halo look. It's so simple and can be worn at least 3-4 days...for me at least because I like to remoisturize and then put my hair back into the style. Thanks for posting.

Btw the formal name for braiding to the scalp is called cornrows (google rows of corn and you will see why)💕

I usually braid closer to the middle part. I'm gonna try your way and see if i can achieve that halo look.

Is there a difference between over and under handed because i can braid and plait but i can't do it the way you did and that's what i want to learn
My problem is it loosens towards the middle then tightens back up towards the end loll.. Gonna try this and see if I can try to keep it close to the scalp all the way through.

my hair naturally looks like yours when you have it blown out like i never knew if i had curls or if i still do they just hiding, but its prolly because i get perms but yeah and its very diffcult to slick my hair and do it it takes sooo so so soooooooooooooooooo long to do my perm when my mom does it then she straightens it. to sum it all up my hair is a mess and i really want curls

Your braid started out sloppy, because your hand technique from the beginning is all wrong.
My hand technique is exactly how I want it to be. Just bc YOU don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
