ID software DID manage to find the perfect gameplay loop and balance for this game Myself i'm not a Huge FPS player, and i even hesitated to play Doom eternal cause i though i would lack the skills for it, sinc eit looked Brutal and Fast paced. But man was i wrong, and was i glad i was. The game is Indeed FAST and BRUTAL, but while not taking you by the hand, it still shows you the ropes nicely enough that you progressively get eased into it, to the point where it feels natural, the fast 3D manoeuvring, the INTENSE Kill Rooms sequences. It is ALL VERY satisfying when you reach that point. And for All of the game's fast gamplay, it also allows the player to take some time, for exploration of the levels, wich are choke full of details, each environement tells a story and are full of things that you can look at and wonder. Its also a rewarding thing to do, since you can find secrets, like in Old Doom games, wich allows you to unlock stuff BY PLAYING AND EXPLORING, not by Microtransactions, BUT by playing the game and roaming its levels. Doom Eternal is a very Modern game, but that has the feel of an Old School classic, its an amazing feeling.
The music is such a huge part of Doom Eternal, but not just as regular music tracks. The game changes up the music for different types of gameplay, it's not just in-combat music, and not in-combat music, hard to explain.
Doom spawned an entirely new genre of metal because it doesn't quite fit into any existing ones. It's called argent metal, also sometimes Doom-core or argent-core.
I know what it is, its the same damn feeling you get from “history of the entire world, i guess”. You don’t get a break, no rest, nothing, its fast paced well placed jokes that you only really understand 10 seconds after hearing it.
Max0r is NOT kidding when he says it's high-octane on speed. I could literally not finish The Ancient Gods Part 1 because I experienced such an adrenaline dump. I didn't seize out or anything, but I became so exhausted after each fight that I just about couldn't move.
So, I actually looked up what that moth doujinshi was he flashed us with, and it's...kinda interesting. The creator seems to have divided into two different kinds of doujinshi, one of which is darker and creepier, while the other is more vanilla and sweeter, both of which use the same characters. So, they effectively created two different universes.

The Marauder is easy after you figure out DON'T hit the shield and wait for the eyes to flash green before unleashing your shotgun on him. But it still sux really bad when they make you fight more than one at once. lol
the ID for the mothgirl shown is "Layers of White" i recommend to not read it. unless its the wholesome off-shot. (think the original has 3 chapters each more fucked up than the last) 10/10 wouldn't read again.
