Just wanted to mention max0r saying "the first shotgun is used in the last level and the last level is used by the first shotgun" is actually accurate because you use ammo you find or receive in the last level to shoot the first shotgun.
I've been wondering on that expression since I first watched the video. Thanks for explaining.
Speaking of the music, are you guys aware of the drama between Mick Gordon and Id? Apparently Id were a nightmare to work with, they didn't pay him for almost a year while he was working on the music, rejected fully half the music he produced (and therefore did not pay him for the rejected tracks) but used ALL the music he had sent them in the game, including rejected tracks, announed the OST by Mick Gordon without actually informing Mick about it, then screwed him around for half a year while he tried to get a contract to actually make the OST, then when he delivered the 12 tracks they had contracted him for on the OST, they gave all his in-game music to Some Guy at the office and had HIM make the other 48 tracks on the OST, which are a cobbled together mess with basic sound design issues.
And when the community asked why the OST was so bad, the head of Id released a public statement blaming Mick for everything and labelling him as hard to work with and unable to meet deadlines, when, again, he produced double the music they paid him for.

It was mostly Marty something( a higher up because of course) and Bethesda being a bunch of assholes.
That's so weird that they acted like that.
That sounds... illegal. Like, the sort of stuff that should definitely result in a lawsuit.
@@RelativelyBest The legal shenanigans have been long and ongoing. I can give you a quick TLDR though:
Mick's lawyers have been negotiating a settlement deal where Id/Bethesda would pay Mick for the music he produced, and Marty (head of Id) would take down the reddit post lying about Mick, and in return Mick would agree to make a new, actually good OST.
Id's counteroffer was: You make a new Doom Eternal OST for us, the reddit post stays up, and we will pay you for the new OST and that payment will include payment for the stolen music.
When Mick refused the offer because Marty's lies have damaged his career, and his lawyers tried more negotiation, Id suddenly got very cantankerous and changed their offer to: The post stays up. No new OST. Here's a 6-figure sum to never ever mention Doom ever again.
Last I heard Mick refused that "offer" too, so unless the lawyers actually start real negotiations the next step will be a long and mostly boring civil trial, which Zenimax's (the parent company of Id/Bethesda) lawyers will no doubt stretch out as long as humanly possible, since the case against them is really strong.
All of this is assuming what Mick claims is true, but he came out with a like, 50 page document with evidence of most of his claims, emails, receipts, the whole nine yards.

I remember in 2021 I finally bought doom 2016, and when I beat it like half a week later, I immediately bought doom eternal and lost my shit at how amazing the game was, I will no doubt love doom for the rest of my days

Doom Eternal is one of the games of all time.
Doom guy didn't kill God, when Doom guy destroyed the God sphere he liberate his soul in astral form, but he will never be able to come back his physical form (in theory). In the game, it is good because in the physical form God become strongh again, but mortal.
Doom guy after destroy the God sphere, be able to hear God voice and he help him to defeat the Darklord (Devil).
In the Doom lore God and Devil are part of the same entity, both are Gods, and for the sake of universe, the good God locked the evil one with him to pretect everyone.

Hear me out; we can launch the less problematic stuff into our sun, it'll all burn up before it reaches the sun into literal nothingness.
