The pats rely on their short passing game to the slot guy and play action passes to gronk with some outside the numbers throws to the Wide outs. Steelers ground and pound with bell who is the centerpiece of their offense.

The Steelers secondary is going to kill them all season. Colbert has failed to improve it through the draft year after year. Granted the offense couldn't finish and Scobee missed two early FGs, but I don't they have to worry because the offense will get it together as the season progresses with the return of both Bell & Bryant.
At the end of the day, you have to give credit to Brady, Gronk & the rest of the Patriots. I'm not sure if the Steelers will face another team with that kind of offense during the regular season. Also, how does the best TE in the game keep getting open. I expected two players on him all game, but no even tried to defend him a few times.

I'm a Dolphins fan so no hate for the Steelers but wow that game was an embarrassment. Left Edelman and Gronk wide open constantly and even when trying to cover they were playing soft. Big Ben was under throwing and over throwing early on but luckily he gets those deep throws to gain yards but doesn't mean much when you can't get the touchdown and then your kicker misses from 46 yards out...twice lol. Ohh and at one point the Steeler had 10 out on the field for defense as if they didn't need any more help when they have 11 lmao. The game ended 28-21 but it was never even close at all. Patriots could've easily finished the game 35 - 14 if they wouldn't have slowed down. Overall good run defense by the Steelers and great offensive play by the Patriots. Steelers need Jesus in their secondary and the Patriots need to polish their defense they gave up too many yards to a team that looked awkward.

As a 50 year fan of my hometown Pittsburgh Steelers.....allow me to say this: FUCK THE HEADPHONE CONTROVERSY. For the past few years, the Steelers have ranked near the bottom of the league in pass defense......yet they use 3 consecutive #1 draft picks on outside linebackers. DUH! They knew guys like Polamalu, Ike Taylor & Ryan Clark were getting old....yet they NOTHING to stop the bleeding. What Brady & Gronkowski did to the Steelers in the opener.......will be repeated several times this year....until they fucking do something to stop it.

was a closer game then i thought it would be, not gon lie gronk pretty much owned us in the backfield. its not gon happen again tho this upcoming season, i just hope we get a good corner n ss to fill the big shoes left by troy/ike, lb's r all set n so is the d-line, we just need that solid corner who can hang with the big recievers like gronk,cj n green. hd it not been for scobees stupid self we prb couldve won or sent the game to OT but that was t the case unfortunately

The Steelers won most of those rings in the 70's, and the Pats could have 6 rings right now, but the Giants made a couple of great plays to beat the Pats in Super Bowl 42 & 46. Try going to 6 Super Bowls with the same owner, GM, coach, QB, and having to deal with a salary cap. There was no salary cap back in 1970's, or 80's
