  • Mr. Rambo is back to help me discuss Part 2 which focuses on bike setup. I explain the importance of proper bike setup, suspension setup and tire pressure. All of this is summing up to being a smoother rider, experiencing less soreness after riding, and most importantly enjoying your ride.

Got a question though, I’ve been trying to find the answer to but no one seems to comment on this:
I had a 939 hypermotard, great bike, but I recently swapped it for a new 950 sp, just like yours. On the 939, the pillion had some sort grabbing handles under the seat. I’m not talking about any accessory , just the stock bike had like some sort of cutouts under the seat the pillion could grab on to hold on.
On the 950 SP though, those cutouts are nowhere to be found. I still haven’t got the bike, it is ordered, and hopefully I will be getting it next week or maybe the week after, but when I tested it I notice that could be a problem when riding with a pillion.
Have you ever ridden with a pillion? Is there anything on the sp stock bike the pillion could hold on to?. I know Ducati sells an accessory for this purpose but I don’t want to break the bike’s lines putting something extra on.
It would be great if you can comment on the tidbits of riding with a pillion on the 950 Sp.
Thanks again and keep up with the videos!
    Cheers

      Thank you for commenting.
I personally have never used one so I couldn’t answer that.
I would ask your dealer if they have specific ones for this bike.
You are going to love the bike, it is an amazing piece of equipment. Just be careful of that sport mode, it puts you into a wheelie frenzy. It is a blast to ride.
Let me know if I can answer more questions for you.

What tire pressure do you keep your tires at?
