    I just purchased the same bike. $7500 otd as well. I’ve had two gen2’s in the past. I’m 5’7” and this S model is so nice. Much easy do deal with… 55 miles on it so far. Subscribed. Cheers from CA.

      @@danstromness5165 It was fast, expensive to maintain, and less than reliable. My 22 KLR was totaled in a car/bike crash. I almost missed the idiot, but not quite. As soon as the insurance paid me, I went and bought a '23 KLR. Funny thing, I think the KLR suspension is on par with the PA.

    I thought they did a great job styling the 3rd gen too!.. I have a 22 Base that has been Farkel'd out and love the heck out of it.. I Use it to commute into Downtown Phoenix, AZ where the exhaust notes of the Yoshimura RS2 I installed really ring out. A good slip-on exhaust really helps them breath.That grey they are using on the 23's is pretty sharp and I'm sure your going to enjoy the heck out of it! The one thing I don’t understand why it is the way it is and that is the positioning of the rear brake line. Why does it curl up, stick out and go along the side of the swing-arm like that? Messy and just waiting to be damaged. Not happy. Other than that, I love this bike.

    • @DeanImages
      @DeanImages  Před rokem +2

      @@Y4CK02 It does seem pretty strong. I mean I wouldn’t want to catch a root sticking up out of the ground. I would likely think it’s a very slim chance catching something in it that would damage it or it would’ve been addressed.

    I bought the ABS Traveler and I like it. I owned gen 1 and gen 2. This gen 3 is a better bike than 2 or 3. I put the happy trails center stand and the 16th. sprocket on mine too. I have the handle bar risers like you have and I like the stock handle bars too. I went with Dunlap trail max tires because I had such good luck out of them on my 2017 Super Tenere. I put 10000 miles on them and they still looked new. I put the national cycle windshield on my KLR and that was a good add on.
