- Test riding the legendary / un-killable KLR-650. I enjoyed the bike for what it is and imagine it’s dual purpose abilities would make it a really fun all around bike.

Some people could care less about sport bikes and would rather have a dependable low maintenance bike to get the job done.
You called it right “legendary tank”. I never plan to be without a KLR.
The shift lever position is designed to allow for big clunky ADV boots.
That makes sense, after talking with a few people that’s also what they told me.
I love my green '23, but that white does look nice on the '24!
What really amazing is the duelsport market is huge now. And kawasaki desides to do nothing 😢for them. Used to race the kx,s they kept up.
I got around the shifter issue by using the edge of my boot. A lot of guys will swap the pegs out for some lowered ones.
Some people mentioned to me later that it’s designed for when your standing up. Felt funny on the road but I’m sure I would be able to get used to it. Thanks for watching
I got a ‘21 klx230, ‘23 klx300, and ‘23 klr650. Each one is great in a different way. Love all 3! Just lots of fun!
Ide love to ride the 300, I hear that they may be bumping it to a 400 soon?
Where did you hear that?
@@2WCapo It would be a fantastic addition to get a KLX 450 dual sport
Or a 500
I brought a 2023 klr650 last year and they are pretty fast for what they are i ride mine like if it was a sport bike. Me and a friend brought one at the same time and I wish I brought a klr650 as my first bike instead of a 2022 klx230
Wish I could come across one of these events. I have a z900 and absolutely love it but I would like to try an aventure bike one day.
Check on Kawasaki’s website, they take this truck all over the country.
I have street bike and a klx230s for off roading. However, I am strangely drawn to the KLR’s. They are giving them away at my dealer for $5900. I do t need it but coming very close to pulling the trigger.
I’m seriously considering something in the dual sport range. Something lightweight maybe in the KLX300 range. I feel like the 650 is too heavy for what I Would want to do off road.
Wow so basically the same sence the 1990
How tall are you? How are the vibes on the bike is it smooth at speed
Around 6 ft, camera is mounted to helmet so vibes don’t do much, it’s just the wind that’s hard to avoid.
Gotta join the dual sport hooligans over here 😝 ohhh look a gate and a trail… yup!!! We goin 😅💯
Gotta teach me tw200 12 o’clock wheelies
@@2WCapo 💯 lean back n cover that brake 😅 braaap braap brraapp ya know the sweet spot of brapppy
It’s not fair how many demo days you get
The Toyota Tundra of the bike world . Not great at anything but you can’t kill it .
Insulting the KlR is not cool.
@@onerider808 i love my Klr
Uhhh... a land cruiser maybe.
I think the Toyota Land Cruiser of the bike world has to be the Yamaha super Tenere.
You did no twisties. It EXCELS in the twisties. You still have no idea what a grest bike it is.
What's hilarious about it?if it were hilarious I don't think they would have kept it in production for 100 years.they actually have marketing experts and stuff for that sort of thing.its not a 10 at anything but it's a SOLID 7 or 8 at EVERYTHING.I lost count at around 30 of how many motorcycles I've owned since my 7th birthday in 1976 and have literally ridden daily ever since, rain, shine, sleet, and some snow even though it rarely snows here, I was on a motorcycle when it did and my klrs are one my favorite.the fuel injection and other updates made it even better.YOU are hilarious!
I think your taking the title the wrong way… I didn’t say anything bad about the bike if you watched the video.
H2 is the GAYEST bike Kawasaki makes.
So does it at least have decent power... ??? It is not a complete slug is it... ???
It’s definitely not fast at all, but for what it’s meant to do (go off road) it’s got enough. It’s not something I would want to spend much time on any highway with but some people do and say they enjoy it.
@2WCapo What about around town only type... Grocery store rip, local restaurants type riding... ??? I've owned lots of high powered let er' rip type machines... I personally love the comfort and look of the 24 KLR 650... Will probably buy a Traveler this week to trick out a bit and add it to my history of motorcycle ownerships... Steal of a deal NEW leftover from dealership... 4300 plus OTD... !!!
@@tommysiemienik7172 around town it would be plenty. I enjoyed this little test ride so I can imagine if I was given the freedom to go do my own thing on it I would have liked it even more.
@@2WCapo Thank you for your replies... Have a great Sunday... !!!
No. It will hit 85-90 easily and never feel too slow in city traffic
